Manager, Global Projects

Role Description: <ul><li>The Manager, Global Projects will lead the deployment of a global Factory Excellence / Operational Excellence framework (FEM) at site and regional levels, aligned with the organization’s global strategy. </li><li>The role is responsible for driving a step change in performance, strengthening people capabilities, and embedding a sustainable, integrated operating system across operations.</li><li>This position plays a critical role in enabling continuous improvement, enhancing organizational reliability and agility, and fostering a strong performance and innovation culture across the end-to-end value chain.</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead the implementation and deployment of FEM at the site in alignment with the global FEM strategy, with the objective of establishing a fully integrated operating system.</li><li>Represent the site in global FEM forums, workshops, and governance meetings, ensuring that site-specific challenges, priorities, and initiatives are incorporated into global plans.</li><li>Own accountability and governance for FEM deployment and sustainability at site level, ensuring all methods, standards, and processes are fully aligned with global frameworks and governance models.</li><li>Develop and execute the site FEM strategy and roadmap in line with global plans, supporting continuous improvement maturity from foundational phases through advanced stages.</li><li>Assess organizational capability, processes, and performance to design effective and efficient FEM deployment plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.</li><li>Establish and strengthen a robust FEM organizational structure at site level, including defined roles, career paths, and succession planning to ensure long-term capability and expertise.</li><li>Coach and support site leadership teams in building and sustaining a strong FEM and continuous improvement culture.</li><li>Identify, standardize, and deploy best practices to improve employee engagement, drive innovation, and enhance organizational agility, ensuring consistent adoption across the site.</li><li>Ensure alignment of site operating standards with global solutions, including daily management systems, standard work, continuous improvement tools, and FEM pillars. Coordinate and support FEM-related training initiatives at site level.</li><li>Drive effective communication and visualization of the site FEM strategy, roadmap, and key initiatives to ensure alignment, engagement, and ownership across the organization.</li><li>Extend FEM principles and strategies beyond Operations to other site functions (e.g., Commercial, Finance, HR) and external partners, supporting cross-functional deployment and standardization.</li><li>Build and nurture a strong FEM community across sites and regions, leveraging internal expertise and best practices.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with local legislation, company policies, and Environment, Health &amp; Safety (EHS) requirements. Actively participate in sustainability initiatives and embed safety and sustainability practices into all operational processes.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing / Production environments with a strong focus on Lean Management and Integrated Work Systems (IWS).</li><li>At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the deployment and/or implementation of Autonomous Maintenance and related continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Strong expertise in integrated operating systems, including FEM/Lean pillars, daily management systems, standard work, and continuous improvement tools and techniques.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li></ul> Preferred Skills <ul><li>Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills</li><li>Training and capability-building experience</li><li>Leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills</li></ul>
