Role Description: <ul><li>The Country Head is the most senior commercial executive and face of our petroleum business in Country.</li><li>This role serves as the primary growth driver and central leadership authority for business operations within the market.</li><li>This role is laser-focused on aggressively expanding market share, revenue, and profitability while providing inspirational leadership and strategic direction to all country-based teams.</li><li>The Country Head has direct line management responsibility for the sales organization and exercises influential leadership over all other functions to ensure cohesive execution of growth strategies and achievement of growth ambitions as articulated in Destination 2030 Strategy.</li></ul> Responsibilities: Growth Leadership and Market Expansion <ul><li>Develop and execute robust growth strategies to grow the Company’s market share and drive revenue growth.</li><li>Lead market penetration initiatives, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, customer segments, and geographic expansion possibilities.</li><li>Set the Country’s growth targets for the team, drive relentless execution and high team performance in country.</li><li>Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.</li><li>Champion innovative go-to-market strategies, pricing optimization, and value proposition development.</li><li>Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies, focusing on high-value accounts and strategic partnerships.</li><li>Lead major deal negotiations and strategic customer relationships that positively impact business growth.</li><li>Represent the company at industry events, government forums, and key customer and regulator engagements to enhance market position.</li><li>Develop comprehensive country business plans that align with Energy BU strategies.</li><li>Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition opportunities.</li><li>Drive business development initiatives including new market entry strategies.</li><li>Conduct regular business reviews and adjust strategies based on market dynamics and performance.</li><li>Manage key stakeholder relationships including government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.</li></ul> Sales Organization Leadership <ul><li>Directly manage and inspire the sales team to achieve exceptional performance and exceed sales targets.</li><li>Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier sales talent while building a high-performance sales culture.</li><li>Establish sales strategies, territory management, and account planning frameworks.</li><li>Implement sales processes, performance metrics, and incentive structures that drive results.</li><li>Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to sales team members to maximize their potential.</li><li>Lead sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance review processes.</li><li>Drive sales team accountability through regular performance monitoring and corrective action when needed.</li></ul> Performance Management and Results Delivery <ul><li>Take full accountability for country P&amp;L performance at gross margin level.</li><li>Partner with functional leaders to jointly set KPIS for all functions in country.</li><li>Ensure closure of receivables in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.</li><li>Implement risk management strategies and contingency planning for business continuity.</li><li>Report regularly to Petroleum leadership team on performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.</li></ul> Stakeholder Management &amp; External Relations <ul><li>Build and maintain strategic relationships with key government officials, regulatory authorities, and industry leaders.</li><li>Represent the companys interests in industry associations, chambers of commerce, and policy forums.</li><li>Ensure positive brand reputation and stakeholder confidence in the market.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelors degree in Engineering, or business related field.</li><li>Masters degree (MBA) is a plus.</li><li>Industry-specific certifications or executive education programs advantageous.</li><li>Minimum 10-12 years of progressive leadership experience in petroleum, oil &amp; gas, or related energy industries.</li><li>At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership role.</li><li>Proven track record of driving significant business growth and market share expansion.</li><li>Experience managing sales organizations and achieving ambitious revenue targets.</li><li>Experience working in emerging markets or similar economic environments.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Act as a single-point-of-contact for topics and issues related to supplier quality within the Heredia, Costa Rica facility.</li><li>Lead supplier-related activities to ensure incoming quality is proactively planned, prepared, and ensured in advance before production part is approved and released.</li><li>Continually improve supplier performance through coaching, training, consequence enforcement, supplier awards and motivation, supplier restriction and disqualification, etc.</li><li>Measure and communicate supplier performance to those suppliers and the organization.</li><li>Evaluate, qualify, approve appropriate new, competitive suppliers (including search for new suppliers), in collaboration with the procurement teams.</li><li>Review and approve/reject/amend supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions for new product releases and qualifying changes to existing components.</li><li>Monitor quality data within the operating systems to ensure data accuracy and develop reporting systems to accurately document and record supplier trends and performance.</li><li>Periodically monitor quality specifications to ensure supplier compliance.</li><li>Work with engineering to clarify and change specifications regarding incoming goods when necessary.</li><li>Clearly communicate (and enforce) company requirements and expectations to suppliers.</li><li>Solicit, drive, monitor, review, approve, and validate containment/corrective/preventive actions by suppliers.</li><li>Facilitate supplier quality roadmaps leading to improved supplier performance.</li><li>Conduct process and system audits of suppliers and maintain working knowledge of ISO and TS quality system requirements.</li><li>Serve as Supplier Quality Lead / SME during internal audits and 3rd party inspections/audits (FDA, BSI).</li><li>Chair QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with key suppliers.</li><li>Validate manufacturing and supplier processes, including activities associated with equipment installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ).</li><li>Interact with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues.</li></ul> Requirements: Qualifications &amp; Background: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other engineering discipline plus 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Working knowledge and understanding of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 820 and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) – ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.</li><li>Bilingual (English / Spanish).</li><li>Experience in a Supplier Management role.</li><li>Experience conducting quality audits in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for compiling and analyzing data.</li><li>Knowledge of DOE, SPC, Gage R&amp;R, and sampling plans.</li><li>Effective time management skills, applied to fast-moving and high-pressure environments.</li><li>Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, as well as in teams.</li><li>Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) to visit suppliers.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Analyze industry pricing standards and competitors to set optimal pricing strategies.</li><li>Harvest and consolidate data from various sources to support pricing decision-making.</li><li>Maintain product pricing routinely in internal systems.</li><li>Manage pricing requests both online and offline via tools.</li><li>Identify low-margin business segments and collaborate with Product Managers to resolve issues.</li><li>Monitor pricing agreement performance and ensure adherence to expected margins.</li><li>Apply advanced analytics to identify pricing issues and opportunities.</li><li>Develop dashboards and reports that support strategic pricing decisions.</li><li>Explore innovative pricing techniques, such as AI-driven models, competitor benchmarking, and cross-functional data integration.</li><li>Communicate and align pricing strategies across departments: Sales, PM, Customer Care, and Finance.</li><li>Simplify and clearly communicate pricing decisions and methodologies to stakeholders.</li><li>Incorporate market insights and business rules into pricing logic.</li><li>Recommend pricing actions to capture market opportunities and improve profitability.</li></ul> Requirements: Experience: <ul><li>Minimum 5- 6 years of experience in pricing analysis, business analysis, commercial strategy, or a related field.</li></ul> Education: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related field.</li></ul> Skills: <ul><li>Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).</li><li>Experience working across business units and aligning stakeholder objectives.</li><li>Ability to present complex data in a clear, simplified format.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: Revenue and Margin Delivery: <ul><li>Achieve and exceed budgeted volumes and margins as per annual sales plan targets</li><li>Drive aggressive revenue growth through systematic customer acquisition, identifying and converting new accounts across all market segments</li><li>Expand business with existing customers by increasing wallet share, and deepening customer penetration through strategic account planning and relationship management</li><li>Develop and maintain a robust new customer portfolio through targeted prospecting, lead generation, market mapping, and conversion of qualified opportunities into active revenue-generating accounts</li><li>Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn, protect revenue base, and ensure long-term sustainable relationships with key accounts</li><li>Protect and enhance profit margins through disciplined pricing strategies, value-based selling and resistance to margin erosion in competitive situations</li><li>Negotiate favorable commercial terms with customers that balance volume commitments with margin integrity, ensuring every deal contributes positively to bottom-line profitability</li></ul> Business Performance: <ul><li>Propose strategic market shifts to meet agreed budgets</li><li>Provide market intelligence insights through proactive engagement with contacts</li><li>Share critical information with management regarding strategy, new projects, and market opportunities</li><li>Build and maintain professional relationships with government agencies, statutory authorities, trade groups, business forums, and industry associations</li><li>Implement timely delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives</li><li>Conduct sales forecasting aligned with market dynamics and coordinate with Supply team for effective S&amp;OP processes</li></ul> Stakeholder Management: <ul><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Maintain close working relationships with supply and logistics teams for proper product planning</li><li>Collaborate with Head of Supply and Distribution, Operations Manager, and Business Development</li><li>Manager to translate business strategy into specific objectives and KPIs</li><li>Facilitate regular communication and reporting on sales, debtors, and collections</li></ul> Requirements: Education and Qualification&nbsp; <ul><li>Bachelors degree in Marketing, Commerce, Sales Management, or related business field</li><li>Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, or related field is preferred</li><li>Professional sales certifications, strategic account management training, negotiation skills certifications, or industry-specific qualifications is an added advantage</li><li>At least 6-8 years of progressive sales experience in the oil and gas industry, petroleum products distribution or related B2B industries</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing a diverse customer portfolio</li><li>Deep understanding of the Kenyan oil and gas market, including market structure, key players, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Track record of successfully managing tenders, RFPs, and complex procurement processes with government entities and large corporate accounts</li></ul>
