Sensors Solution Architect

Responsibilities:&nbsp; Product &amp; Application Development Strategic Product &amp; Market Insight: <ul><li>Acquire deep application knowledge of products, quickly understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.</li><li>Clearly establish competitive analysis and support defining the value proposition for new products.</li><li>Build a deep understanding of the market, competition, and customer needs to inform product strategy.</li><li>Understand competitors’ products and solutions and the evolution of target markets.</li><li>Play a prominent role in the design of technology and IP roadmaps, and support long-term product roadmaps.</li></ul> Product Definition &amp; Development: <ul><li>Define next-generation sensor products.</li><li>Work collaboratively with customers, sales teams, applications and product development engineers, and the product line manager to identify, specify, and propose optimal new products for target applications.</li><li>Solve system-level problems with the innovative products you define.</li><li>Conduct technical evaluations of early concepts to produce feasibility analysis and investigate adaptations of existing technologies to new applications.</li><li>Feedback customer application knowledge, gather market and customer requirements, and translate them into next-generation product requirements.</li></ul> Technical Support &amp; Go-To-Market: <ul><li>Provide technical support to customers, distribution, sales, and FAEs.</li><li>Define and drive the development of promotional tools (e.g., evkits, reference designs, demo kits).</li><li>Support the Go-To-Market strategy by providing promotional content for marketing campaigns, application notes, white papers, and user guides.</li></ul> Requirements: Experience: <ul><li>8+ years of industry experience in roles such as Applications Engineer, Systems Engineer, System Architect, or Product Definer.</li><li>Direct experience in a customer-facing role is highly desired.</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel to customer meetings globally (10%-20% of the time).</li></ul> Education: <ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.</li><li>Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline is a plus.</li></ul> Domain Knowledge: <ul><li>Specific domain knowledge in power management is desired.</li></ul> ITAR/EAR Compliance Requirement: <ul><li>This position requires access to information subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).</li><li>Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.</li></ul> Travel: <ul><li>Travel 1-2 weeks per quarter to meet with strategic customers and partners.</li></ul>
