Staff Software Engineer - Backend

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Own the Cloud based Secure Connectivity and network management platform architecture.</li><li>Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product</li><li>Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility</li><li>Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards</li><li>Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to development team</li><li>Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design</li><li>Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers</li><li>Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.</li><li>Approve final product before launch</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>8+ years of experience in VPN ,Network management software system design.</li><li>Proficient in Java,J2EE, Microservices, Spring and SpringBoot framework.</li><li>Experienced in network engineering with strong understanding on IP addressing, routing, firewall, ACLs, NATs &amp;PATs, VLANs, etc.</li><li>Knowledge on VPN solutions e.g.,SoftEther, Wireguard, IPSEC.</li><li>Must have experience on Cloud based multi-tenant networking solutions design.</li><li>Hands-on knowledge on Docker Networking and Containerization framework.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide technical leadership in support of the organizations digital bank implementation.</li><li>Responsible for overall delivery of the mobile/internet banking platform or country implementation of a digital banking platform.</li><li>Provide management oversight to IT area leads, Chapter Leads and other senior IT professionals. Maintain strong collaboration and partnership with business and product teams.</li><li>Provide thought leadership and facilitate the sharing of knowledge between digital bank team and across other organizations teams to strengthen capabilities and the organizations ability to respond to business and customer needs. Drive strategies, technical roadmaps and implementation of digital bank portfolio.</li><li>Drive digital transformation – support and drive digital business and technology change through organisational, cultural, behavioural and process changes.</li><li>Champion change initiatives and provide guidance and support on the design, implementation and communication of each initiative.</li><li>Support the Team - Build up the right capabilities and people, equip them with the skills, tools, and standard approaches to deliver functional excellence, and ensure that they are deployed to value-creation opportunities — sometimes in long-term roles supporting the business, but more often to the small, independent squads.</li><li>Build Capabilities - Responsible for building a “capability” to support a value-creation line; shepherding people along their career paths; evaluating and promoting people; and building standard tools, methods, and ways of working in collaboration with the Chapters and the Platform/Tribe Coaches.</li><li>Manage By Empowering - The ITAL must manage external (vendors) and internal resources, must evaluate, promote, coach, and develop his or her people, but without traditional direct oversight. The ITAL is not involved in the day-to-day work of squads for “value creation standpoint” but has the responsibility to supervise the day-to-day (quality, velocity, productivity, resourcing, vendor management) in collaboration with team members and the Platform/Tribes/Squad business leads.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 9+ years technical and delivery experience, preferably in a banking or wholesales banking environment.</li><li>Experience in mixed development methodology development waterfall and Agile delivery</li><li>Strong organizational and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to transform traditional development organisations into high performance squads.</li><li>Ability to nurture individual tribe leads / IT area leads into high performing rockstars.</li><li>In depth experience on 1 or more programming languages, such as Java, React.JS</li><li>Familiar with application hosting technologies, such as Apache, JBOSS, Weblogic.</li><li>Experienced in: o Various API design (RESTFUL, SOAP) and microservices architecture o Hybrid mobile solution. o Digital banking solution for SME/ corporate banking. o Developing web applications using Java/J2EE technologies o Configuration, deployment of enterprise applications with JBOSS o All the phases of Software Development Life Cycle from Analysis to Production support o Developing micro services and consuming RESTful web services.</li><li>Ensures technical execution, planning, advice, support, and mentoring of developers, architects and analysts</li><li>Strong knowledge on: o Web applications security, such as authentication &amp; authorisation, session management, data security and other best practice to protect web applications from vulnerabilities and threats o Identifying backend performance bottlenecks on both application &amp; integration layers, and performs relevant optimizations. o Design principles and design patterns. o All architecture layers.</li><li>Familiar with server-side Frameworks – Core-Java, Apache Camel, Maven, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Multi-threading, JDBC, JMS, Hibernate, JPA, JSON, Mockito, Swagger, OpenShift, Kubernetes.</li><li>Familiar with database technologies such as Oracle, MariaDB. Performing design and code review for other team members.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: Lead your team’s engineering efforts and demonstrate ownership of features, projects, modules, and services that you and your team deliver. Lead design and development efforts of existing and new payment experiences using a wide variety of technologies. Play a key role in the broader architectural decision-making processes. Act as a strong advocate for clean and scalable principles and practices in all areas, including coding, documentation, automation etc. Participate in formal and informal code and design reviews to hold quality high. Be a champion of high-performing, secure, and reliable software services. Identify critical non-functional requirements for the work your team is prioritizing (Availability, Security, Performance, Scalability, etc.) Provide technical leadership to your team across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Collaborate and communicate effectively with all technical and non-technical partners and stakeholders (Architecture, Developer Experience, Product, Design, Analytics, Legal, Marketing, etc.) Work with your Agile team to achieve shared understanding around the new products and features under consideration. Continuously learn by staying on top of the latest technology trends and share your knowledge and experience with your peers, adjacent teams, and across the organization. Collaborate frequently with other developers and teams to design and implement the cutting-edge reliable solutions. Understand and apply our technical architecture to ensure consistent, reliable, and secure deployments. Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities as required. Actively contribute to the test suites to enable speedy and reliable continuous integration. Guide continuous improvements to our build, deploy, and go to market processes. Bring fresh ideas for how to continuously improve our software, and your team. Advocate for ways to avoid and remediate technical debt on an ongoing basis. Actively participate in program planning, influencing the product and technology roadmap, and driving outcomes.  Requirements: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field of study. You have 8+ years of professional experience in the software industry. You are proficient and have strong skills in Java, object oriented, and functional programming, and are familiar with all related and latest topics and technologies. You care about writing high-quality code, and you've written your fair share of automated tests to back up your code. You're passionate about high-scale, high-throughput, low-latency systems, and about creating compelling experiences and integrations.  You're a problem solver, and you enjoy working both independently and collaboratively to identify the root cause of any issue and solve it with a can-do mindset.  You have experience mentoring less seasoned team members. You are open to and enjoy collaborating with teammates in non-technical roles as well.  Experience in developing software for distributed systems with high performance, scalability, and availability. Familiar and comfortable with the technologies, the tradeoffs, and the design patterns emerging in application development. Experience in developing high performance, scalable and available web services using J2EE and frameworks such as RestEasy, Spring, Apache CXF and Jersey.. Good understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSON and SOAP/WSDL. Experience in payments processing or e-commerce domains. Experience working in a global-scale SaaS environment. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have a bias towards action and results.
