SAP S4 Hana Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Review and release material purchase orders (Raw Material, Semi-Finished and/or manufactured parts) to cover requirements and support customer demand, maintaining Inventory levels within target.</li><li>Review and Execute exception codes (messages) in system (example: 10, 15 and 20) for planned purchase orders or pending approvals, since they indicate a situation (Purchase Orders Placement, Changes and/or Cancellations) that need an action to prevent Inventory Excess, Material Shortages, etc.</li><li>Plan and execute system messages. Review and release system customer blocks with established frequency to maintain STR performance within goal and avoid Past Due.</li><li>Follow the appropriate escalation process to communicate on time any situation that could put in risk the normal performance of the business.</li><li>Track Shipments from supplier thru receiving, coordinating with logistics, customs, cross-dock, GLOG warehouse and receiving inspection to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Monthly Review of Materials excess and obsolescence and follow procedure for proper disposition.</li><li>Analysis of safety stock levels to meet the changing sales trends/customer demand changes.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify areas of improvement and implement preventive and corrective actions in the supply chain area.</li><li>Work closely with purchasing team to improve supplier’s performance.</li><li>Review and maintain related parameters for part numbers assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>More activities can be assigned by supervisor or manager as they are required to comply with the job role.&nbsp;</li><li>Aid VSM and Materials Manager in achievement of performance targets, including delivery (STR), inventory value, and cost avoidance/cost reduction.</li><li>Serve as cross functional liaison to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>﻿Minimum 3yrs to 5 years of experience as Planner/Buyer.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of ERP System (SAP) in modules such as: Purchasing, PP, WM, etc.</li><li>Understanding of Lean Concepts (Standard Work, Visual Management, KanBan, 5S, etc.) through PDCA.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in automotive plants.</li></ul>

Role Description: <ul><li>As an SAP Subject Matter Expert specializing in Supply Chain, your mission is to optimize and enhance the efficiency of our supply chain operations through the strategic management and innovation of SAP systems.</li><li>You will also represent DDN business unit operations and supply chain to help ensure the overall success of the program overseeing the implementation and management of S/4 Hanna solutions within DDN operations.</li><li>This role is critical in ensuring that the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system aligns with business objectives and meets operational needs.</li><li>This will be by active involvement in process reviews &amp; audits, change management, testing, and testing coordination.</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manage and monitor (System administration) SAP supply chain systems.</li><li>Overseeing and managing the configuration and customization of SAP ECC or S/4HANA to ensure it fits the specific requirements of the business.</li><li>Analyzing and re-engineering business processes to leverage the features of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, ensuring that the system supports efficient operations (Audits – checks).</li><li>Develop organizational change management materials for your respective function on behalf of your BU / segment.</li><li>Working closely with various stakeholders, including IT, finance, supply chain, Operations, sourcing, and other business units, to gather requirements and ensure the system meets organizational needs.</li><li>Lead in support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project timelines, budgets, and resources. Secure effective communication on project progression.</li><li>Define, perform and support business process testing (UAT) of global operations and local functions.</li><li>Provide and support training efforts on any changes being introduced with the new system.</li><li>Secure Process documented and accessible across functions.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration of SAP supply chain modules with other business processes and systems.</li><li>Assist with and help coordinate data cleansing efforts when necessary.</li><li>Identify and support the documentation and resolution of any project issues and gaps.</li><li>Coordinate testing efforts with additional assigned resources / local / site specific teams.</li><li>Prepare and manage testing scenarios and testing outputs in each test cycle.</li><li>Define and execute regression tests as we go through the wave implementations.</li><li>Execute the process testing and change management of any interim activities required to take place between the wave such as the changes required to manage activities between two systems. Secure perform root cause analysis for technical incidents which may happen.</li><li>Perform and coordinate the global data validation and signoff.</li><li>Support the go-live and final implementation (hypercare).</li><li>Managing the change associated with the transformation to SAP S/4HANA, including training for users and developing change management strategies to encourage user adoption.</li><li>Animate SME and help in grooming Skills and competencies within the organization.</li><li>Establishing metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation and identifying areas for improvement.</li><li>Overseeing ongoing maintenance and support for the SAP S/4HANA system, including troubleshooting issues and managing updates.</li><li>Utilizing the reporting and analytics capabilities of SAP S/4HANA to provide insights that help drive business decisions</li><li>This role will have direct impact on MDG Data Quality, Purchasing, Planning &amp; Scheduling, Shop floor control, Production Planning, Quality management, Warehousing, Logistics, Shipping. Bolts on Supplier Portal, SAP IBP , SAP LBN, MES, WMS, TMS</li></ul> Interacts with <ul><li>Global logistics, SC Planning, SC Design, Transformation &amp; Performance, Operations, our client OA. Master data, Sourcing, Footprint</li><li>Business Leaders (SBT). Sales &amp; Product Managers, Quality &amp; Engineering, Finance</li><li>Data insights and analytics leader and team, &amp; Core teams.</li></ul> Measures of Success <ul><li>Project Delivery Timeliness, Meeting milestones of project plan.</li><li>User Adoption Rate.</li><li>Cost Savings quantified through process optimization post-implementation.</li><li>Data Accuracy.</li><li>Stakeholder satisfaction.</li><li>Audit compliance.</li><li>Follow up Enhancements.</li><li>Innovation enablement.</li><li>Cross Department collaboration.</li><li>SME framework and skill network animation</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Role is 70% tactical &amp; 30% strategic</li><li>Report to DDN Supply Chain Performance Manager.</li><li>Master’s degree, English language skills required.</li><li>Hands on extensive knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain processes – considered by many to be a “super user”</li><li>Proficiency in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Basis, Finance (FICO), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM).</li><li>Significant experience with SAP implementations, including project management, business process engineering, and change management. (S/4HANA a Plus)</li><li>Experience with organizational change management and implementing change in processes</li><li>Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, experience working with offshore teams, multi-tasking, and agile methodologies. Data savvy – experience reviewing, assessing, and validating data.</li><li>Able to make timely decisions and provide direction to a broad team..</li><li>Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and work independently</li><li>Willingness to travel when required.</li></ul>
