Responsibilities: <ul><li>Meet customers in the Bay Area locally and frequently.&nbsp;</li><li>Build and maintain critical relationships with the Customer’s Engineering teams locally in the Bay Area and Austin, as well as with extended teams in Asia.</li><li>Become the application expert and be able to present Customer application solution designs and future technical trends to stakeholders.</li><li>Drive new and custom designs in coordination with internal and external teams.</li><li>Support Salesforce pipeline entries, S&amp;OP forecasting, and related revenue tools.</li><li>Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.</li></ul>&nbsp;﻿Requirements: <ul><li>Familiarity and experience selling to enterprise customers are strongly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of Cloud architecture (server, switch, storage, AI, related ICs and protocols).</li><li>A BS degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Background in interconnects, copper cables, and optics is strongly preferred.</li><li>5 to 7 years of industry experience in customer-facing roles.</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.</li></ul>

The Role As a Staff Software Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert. We are looking for technologists with the highest levels of technical talent, programming, and communication skills with a keen desire to deeply understand our product and how to make our systems stronger and more resilient. &nbsp;Responsibility <ul><li>Lead engineering efforts and team level processes by defining outcomes for others, refining ongoing processes, and providing technical advice to senior leaders on systems, solutions, challenges, and strategy.</li><li>Evangelist for technical standards, engineering best practices, and quality across larger Venmo team , Inc. Determines the technical tasks that other engineers will follow.</li><li>Support end-to-end ownership of design, implementation and operational excellence of software components while proactively improving existing structures and processes.</li><li>Contribute to the technical engineering roadmap by completing quality and thorough assessments of implementation alternatives and their associated trade-offs and providing recommendations.</li><li>Be consistently solutions-focused while contributing to the vision of domain and larger Venmo technical engineering roadmap.</li><li>Exercises judgement in reconciling diverse and competing priorities to identify optimal solutions to problems.</li><li>Leverage strategic thinking and experience to look ahead and anticipate consequences and risks linked to implementation choices; able to identify patterns to reduce repetition into meaningful general solutions.</li><li>A key voice on team-level processes (ex code &amp; design reviews) and oversees projects, ensuring an accurate, complete, timely and operable solution is delivered.</li><li>Serves as an expert to resolve technical inquiries of others.</li><li>Be able to provide technical leadership for a team with limited guidance from management or senior teammates.</li><li>Strong skills interacting and tailoring communication with various technical and non-technical stakeholders, such as product, support, finance operations, compliance and legal.</li></ul> Requirement <ul><li>At least 5+ years’ Experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing mobile applications at scale.</li><li>Strong Kotlin skills &amp; knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code.</li><li>Deep understanding and knowledge around consuming GraphQL and REST APIs from Mobile applications.</li><li>Passionate about mentoring and developing software engineers.</li><li>Strong understanding of testing best practices and familiarity with at least one testing framework for Mobile Development. Skilled at writing Unit and Automation tests.</li><li>Strong knowledge of common design patterns, algorithms, and object-oriented programming with expertise in design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.</li></ul>

You will also work with engineering managers, engineers, and partner teams to&nbsp;</li><li>develop innovative solutions.&nbsp;</li><li>Define and develop processes, tools and methodologies to achieve excellence in software&nbsp;</li><li>development, testing, and deployment, follow coding standards and guidelines with attention to performance, scalability, and availability.&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>At least 5+ years of iOS development experience with Swift programming skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience building iOS applications connected to APIs – RESTful and GraphQL.&nbsp;</li><li>Practical knowledge of iOS architecture.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with a version control system and the processes that come with committing, reviewing, and merging code across a team.&nbsp;</li></ul> Basic Qualifications:&nbsp; <ul><li>A solid grounding in Computer Science &amp; UI Design fundamentals.&nbsp;</li><li>2-3 years of experience building successful production software systems&nbsp;</li></ul>
