Job Description: <ul><li>As Sales Specialist you will join the DC CAI architecture sales team in India to manage some of the largest account.&nbsp;</li><li>Your primary focus will be to drive growth of CAI in the Enterprise Segment &amp; create thought with customers and partners in India to drive multi-cloud portfolio.&nbsp;</li><li>In this capacity you will have to collaborate with the global, APJ regional teams as well as work closely with the India sales and partner teams.</li></ul> Responsibilities: Sales Strategy &amp; Execution: <ul><li>Define, develop, and manage the go-to-market and sales strategy for the Cisco CAI Multi-Cloud portfolio,&nbsp;</li></ul> including: <ul><li>HyperFlex (HX)</li><li>Cisco Networking &amp; ACI</li><li>Cloud Management, Orchestration Software &amp; Analytics Ensure alignment with Cisco’s broader business goals and financial targets.</li></ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration: <ul><li>Partner closely with internal teams—including product sales specialists, regional sales, and account teams—to ensure successful strategy implementation and field execution.</li><li>Partner Ecosystem Development</li><li>Build and enable a strong partner ecosystem</li><li>Collaborating with existing partners and identifying new partner types aligned with emerging customer needs.</li><li>Driving joint go-to-market initiatives and partner enablement programs.</li></ul> Customer Focus – India Market: <ul><li>Engage directly with key Indian customers to position Cisco as the preferred technology partner for their cloud and digital transformation initiatives.</li><li>Champion a customer-first mindset to tailor solutions and drive adoption.</li></ul> Market Intelligence &amp; Pipeline Development: <ul><li>Anticipate market trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics to shape the future pipeline and evolve the sales strategy accordingly.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>12+ years of DC solutions experience in an IT sales organization that includes selling products such as servers, hyper converged solutions, DC Networking products, Cloud technologies, DC Software etc.</li><li>Experience in building a business around Cloud solutions &amp; Data center switching portfolio</li><li>Positive relationships with SIs &amp; Customers in India</li><li>In depth understanding of DC Trends and evolution strategic mindset with a proven ability to drive sales initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, software-defined networking, and cloud management platforms.</li><li>Experience working in or with the Indian enterprise technology market.</li><li>Ability to influence across organizational boundaries and at executive levels.</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—both internally and external</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>You will be part of the Software Platforms Teams, working on the development of in-house cybersecurity device software development for Industrial networks.&nbsp;</li><li>You will be building Firewall software for industrial routers which are complex multicore, multi-threaded software systems supporting high-availability, hundreds of network protocols and delivering high throughput packet forwarding.</li><li>Building brand new products, supporting new features, feature enhancements and sustenance of products across the R&amp;D product portfolio, using device software running on hardware.</li><li>Designing embedded systems and selecting appropriate hardware components.</li><li>Developing low-level software to interact with hardware (device drivers, hardware abstraction layers).</li><li>Implementing real-time operating system (RTOS) features or bare-metal code.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>3-15 years’ experience in a product-based organization developing embedded software for Enterprise, Industrial Automation or Service Providers industry.</li><li>Fundamental level understanding of embedded systems architecture, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems.</li><li>Ability to work on complex modular software systems, algorithms and be able to design, code, debug and automate software.</li><li>Good knowledge in C/C++ programming, data structures, Algorithms &amp; debugging tools.</li><li>Good knowledge in Linux based environment, with extensive knowledge of Linux Internals.</li><li>Some hands-on operating systems, IPCs &amp; multi-thread programming experience.</li><li>Advanced working level knowledge of Computer networks and Network protocols in TCP/IP, switching (L2), routing (L3) &amp; security protocols.</li><li>Ability to work with existing code base.</li><li>Hands-on experience in Versioning and Git/GitHub/Bitbucket repository.</li><li>Experience with Unit test strategy and execution.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Python or equivalent scripting languages</li><li>Experience with packet generating and network test tools.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Hirschmann switches, router and security devices knowledge would be added</li><li>advantage.</li><li>Minimum 3-10 years working experience.</li><li>2~3 year’s implementation experience in Managed and unmanaged switches, Internet wireless LAN,</li><li>Industrial Security Systems, Embedded Ethernet modules, Fiber optic field bus repeaters, Secure</li><li>remote access, Network Management Software, Industrial Connectors, industrial network security</li><li>products for process control, SCADA manufacturing and automation sectors.</li><li>Experience in customer support, service or after sales in networking system will be added advantage.</li><li>Understanding of networking protocols.</li><li>Knowledge of transmission technology, OTN and Network Access control would be a plus.</li><li>Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools/network</li><li>configuration experience with Cisco etc.</li><li>Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internetresources.</li><li>Basic Level of understanding of Routing and Switching, Basic Data networking, including DHCP, RSTP, VLAN, QoS, IGMP, network redundancy, IP routing protocols and standard VPN technology.</li><li>Industrial networking and IIoT/IoT digitalization knowledge would be added advantage.</li><li>Good English in reading and written, and good oral English is a must.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
