Associate Software Engineer - AI/ML systems Gurugram/New York

HR Manager UK & Ireland

Overview: <ul><li>HR Operations, Payroll Management, Talent Acquisition, Manpower Plans &amp; HR Budgets, Driving Performance Management Process and Training &amp; Development.</li></ul> Responsibilities: HR Operations <ul><li>Employee Engagement</li><li>Manage Employee Relations: provide guidance and assist line managers in handling employee disciplinary issues based on HR policies &amp; procedures</li><li>Maintain employee profiles: staff registration, job offer, labor contract, contract liquidation, salary, probation, promotion, termination, etc.</li><li>Manage HR information system and handle employee inquiries</li><li>Assure through audits, reports are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations</li></ul> Talent Acquisition: <ul><li>Lead the recruitment and selection process</li><li>Handle the whole Life-cycle of staffing, such as on-boarding/off-boarding, new employee orientation, exit process/interview</li></ul> Manpower Plans &amp; HR Budgets; <ul><li>Work closely with Country Managers to finalize the HR Manpower Plans and HR Budgets</li></ul> Driving Performance Management Process: <ul><li>Spearhead end to end Performance Management Process in collaboration with Country Manager and Line Managers</li></ul> Training &amp; Development: <ul><li>Drive and deploy training and development programs and processes to reduce competency gaps</li><li>Lead local learning initiatives such as online learning and various learning tools based on business needs</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>4-5 years of experience in Human Resources including as HR generalist and/or managerial role;</li><li>Familiar with HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation &amp; Benefits, Learning &amp; Development, HR management system, Performance Management, Talent Management);</li><li>Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English;</li><li>Ability to work independently and effectively with cross functional teams, build relationships/ credibility across the organization and quickly assume responsibility in a new organization;</li><li>Good understanding of local labor market, labor law/regulations and practices;</li><li>Critical thinking and strong influencing skill;</li><li>Collaborative, trustworthy, well-organized self-starter;</li><li>Good personal and business ethics;</li><li>Good MS Office skills</li><li>Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred</li></ul>

Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: <ul><li>Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the wider People strategy and overall business strategy.</li><li>Partner with the MD and senior leadership to drive organisational effectiveness</li><li>Act as a thought leader in HR practices to influence decision-making at the leadership level.</li></ul> Talent Management: <ul><li>Support acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent, working with the local Resourcing team</li><li>Support the design and implementation of talent development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.</li><li>Oversee performance management processes to foster a culture of high performance</li></ul> Employee Engagement and Culture: <ul><li>Drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and promote a positive work environment.</li><li>Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.</li><li>Act as a steward of company culture, ensuring alignment with global values and local nuances.</li></ul> HR Operations and Compliance: <ul><li>Ensure compliance with local labour laws, regulations, and company policies.</li><li>Partner with global people operations teams to ensure alignment of processes and policies.</li><li>In partnership with global reward team colleagues manage compensation, benefits, and rewards frameworks in line with global standards and local requirements.</li></ul> Change Management: <ul><li>Lead HR efforts during organisational changes, including restructuring, mergers, and policy updates.</li><li>Support communication strategies to ensure smooth transitions during periods of change.</li><li>Stakeholder Management</li><li>Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional and global HR teams and relevant CoEs including Resourcing and Reward teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to the MD and leadership team on all people-related matters.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Strategic Thinking: Ability to align wider People / HR initiatives with long-term business goals.</li><li>Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing and relationship-building skills at all levels of the organisation.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex challenges with practical and effective solutions.</li><li>Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to cultural nuances in a global business setting.</li></ul> Experience: <ul><li>Demonstrable progressive HR experience, with significant experience in a senior HR leadership role.</li><li>Proven track record of operating in a standalone or matrixed HR environment.</li><li>Experience working within a global organisation, with exposure to multicultural environments.</li></ul> Knowledge: <ul><li>Deep understanding of Indian labour laws, employment practices, and HR trends.</li><li>Familiarity with global HR frameworks and best practices.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Design and build the next generation of the worlds best investment management technology platform, focusing on managing various investment lifecycle processes and investment research.</li><li>Integrate new AI services across the platform and Aladdin application ecosystem.&nbsp;</li><li>Refine business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.</li><li>Collaborate with product engineering teams to implement comprehensive AI/ML-based solutions from start to finish.</li><li>Apply quality software engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.</li><li>Optimize the software delivery and workflow of the team.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area with 2+ years of proven experience, or equivalent experience, for Associate positions and 4+ years, or equivalent experience, for Vice President.</li><li>Proficiency and hands-on experience in object-oriented programming with Java and Python.</li><li>Proficiency in designing and building scalable APIs and Microservices.</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (Preferred), AWS, or GCP.</li><li>Ability to reverse engineering existing applications.</li><li>Grit in the face of technical obstacles&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in Agile development teams with excellent collaboration skills.</li></ul>

Role Description:This is an exciting role within a global organization that allows the freedom to make a difference whilst at the same time has very accessible support at a European and global level.To provide employees and managers with expert HR advice and support both operationally and strategically, complying with UK and Ireland practices and legislation in an international working environment.Supporting around 300 employees in specific Divisions and Business Units across the UK and Ireland, this position provides a consistent experience and harmonised approach throughout the employee lifecycle.The HR function is constantly evolving to align with the employee experience, expectations, legislation and technology.Whilst undertaking a broad range of HR related tasks, identifies and drives opportunities to attract and retain talent, affect business results, and support strategic initiatives.
