Lead UI Engineer

Job Purpose and Impact: <ul><li>The Senior Software Engineer- Azure Platform designs, develops and maintains software applications and systems, specifically the Azure, Azure Dev Ops, and Power Platform cloud platforms for the ERP team.&nbsp;</li><li>With minimal supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to define, design and implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging complex issues.&nbsp;</li><li>This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>In this role, you will be responsible for platform engineering and application development on the platform, participating as a core platform team member to pursue innovation and new technologies and solutions.</li></ul> Responsibilities: Platform Engineering:&nbsp; <ul><li>Designs, enables, and configures platform services and capabilities compliant with best practices and standards.</li></ul> Software Development: <ul><li>Designs and develops high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes.</li></ul> Automation:&nbsp; <ul><li>Leads the application of internal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.</li></ul> Collaboration:&nbsp; <ul><li>Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and different engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.</li></ul> Testing &amp; Debugging:&nbsp; <ul><li>Writes and maintains complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software.</li></ul> Continuous Improvement:&nbsp; <ul><li>Suggests options for improving the software development and deployment processes and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.</li></ul> Documentation:&nbsp; <ul><li>Builds and maintains comprehensive documentation for complex software applications, deployment processes and system configurations.</li></ul> Technical Support:&nbsp; <ul><li>Provides technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution.</li></ul> Requirements: Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience</li><li>Confirmed experience automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery, and security</li><li>Confirmed experience architecting applications, databases, services, or integrations</li><li>Minimum of four years of related work experience</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Microsoft Azure platform experience and/or certifications</li><li>Microsoft Power Platform experience and/or certifications</li><li>SAP or SAP BTP platform experience</li></ul>

Role Description: <ul><li>We are seeking a UI Lead to help create our next-generation products that satisfy our customer’s needs.</li><li>The UI Lead will use their deep professional knowledge and an understanding of the customer environment to propose and develop new and innovative solutions to customer problems.</li><li>They will use their understanding of applied engineering, product lifecycle and technology advancement to help align and solve problems across multiple product lines using similar technology.</li><li>The successful candidate will be hands on and curious with a focus on technology, remote collaboration, the application of engineering principles, and the ability to influence cross functionally to achieve department goals.</li><li>This role will report to the Technical Program Manager and will work from our Pune office</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Define the infrastructure and the software architecture for the React-based Front End related to a specific set of products and projects.</li><li>Act as a lead and a mentor to offshore teams, including code review, best practices, architecting, product thinking, and code quality.</li><li>Develop platform software and collaborate across engineering groups to maximize the use of common emerging platform technologies, conventions, technological building blocks.</li><li>Collaborate with Product Management, Architects and Product Owners from various teams and Executive leaders to define the business and technical strategy.</li><li>Collaborate with global engineering leads at various businesses to establish and drive adoption of conventions and innovation.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Education: Bachelors or higher degree in a related technical field (Electrical, Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering)</li><li>8+ Years in front end development</li><li>5+ years in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of a micro front end that consumes high distributed service-oriented architectures, having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, scalability and security.</li><li>Experience with UI and UX concepts using modular and reusable UI components.</li><li>Experience with refactoring large code bases using safe techniques.</li><li>Experience building CI/CD pipelines. DevOps and Devsecops, version control, and system testing with Gitlab and Jenkins</li><li>Experience creating and obtaining actionable insights from Datadog, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana</li><li>Experienced with programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, CSS, React.js, GO</li><li>Willingness to learn and teach complex technologies.</li></ul>
