Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: <ul><li>Develop and execute procurement and planning strategies aligned with organizational goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Create and manage annual procurement plans and budgets.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.&nbsp;</li></ul> Procurement Management: <ul><li>Oversee the procurement process for goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, and delivery performance.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to product quality, delivery, and service.&nbsp;</li></ul> Planning &amp; Forecasting: <ul><li>Develop and manage forecasting models to predict inventory needs and ensure alignment with production schedules.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure that procurement and inventory plans support overall business objectives.&nbsp;</li><li>Implement and maintain planning tools and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.&nbsp;</li></ul> Team Leadership: <ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement and planning team to achieve high performance and professional growth.&nbsp;</li><li>Set clear goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.&nbsp;</li></ul> Compliance &amp; Risk Management: <ul><li>Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.&nbsp;</li></ul> Reporting &amp; Analysis: <ul><li>Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and planning performance to senior management.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.&nbsp;</li></ul> Continuous Improvement: <ul><li>Identify and implement best practices and process improvements in procurement and planning.&nbsp;</li><li>Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>Bachelors degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or procurement.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 8 years experience in procurement, supply chain management, and/or purchasing in FMCG food industry.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lead and manage a team, motivate employees, and delegate effectively.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing contracts.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with procurement processes, policies, and regulations.&nbsp;</li></ul>
