Responsibilities: <ul><li>We are looking for DCS Engineer to join Shedgum Gas Plant Department You will be responsible for providing technical support to operating facilities, projects, technology deployment, and talent development of new DCS Engineer</li><li>ShGP was brought on stream in 1981. The plant current processing capacity is 2.5 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD) of associated and non-associated gas. The plant products are NGL, Ethane, Sales Gas and Liquid Sulfur.</li><li>We are seeking for control system and instrumentation to work within ShGP control system and instrumentation group.&nbsp;</li><li>The engineer will work with engineering disciplines to enhance and resolve process control and instrumentation activities.</li><li>Additionally, the engineer is expected to participate in the organization initiatives including but not limited to safety program, innovation programs, operation excellence, knowledge sharing, self-development and others programs as required.</li><li>The engineer should have a full knowledge involved with advanced Gas Processing control and adequate technical skills to provide engineering analysis, design and control of assigned projects.&nbsp;</li><li>The Engineer shall check the system performance to ensure it is running up to its design and implement any modification or system enhancement.</li></ul> Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>As a successful candidate, he should have a BS in related engineering discipline to control system and instrumentation with (10) years of experience.&nbsp;</li><li>He should have a recent experience with DCS and ESD (Foxboro/ Triconex), Turbine Control System (TCS), Compressor Control System (Allen Bradley) and control system security.</li><li>He should have excellent experience and knowledge in designing and updating/upgrading control system and strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Supervise the activities and work performed by direct reports to ensure that are carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in line with the annual business plans, and departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Recommend training and development interventions for team members to build their capabilities.</li><li>Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. </li><li>This accountability is applicable to expatriate employees only.</li><li>Monitor performance, identify upgrade needs, collect, analyze, and interpret performance data to ensure optimal control systems performance.</li><li>Monitor and participate in control system installation, modification, and upgrades to ensure effective implementation.</li><li>Work closely with Procurement team in the identification of upgrade requirements, technical qualification of vendors and final selection to ensure that services provided meet Q-Chem needs and standards.</li><li>Modify the control systems throughout the plants, by installing all parameters, carrying out procedures as per set guidelines and practices to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Prepare spare parts management requirements at all times and monitor inventory, especially prior to major planned overhauls to avoid and minimize control system disruptions.</li><li>Plan and schedule the upgradation of DCS &amp; SIS equipment and systems and ensure alignment of all relevant stakeholders to maintain DCS &amp; SIS systems reliability and optimal operation.</li><li>Participate in developing of process and instrumentation diagrams to support clear and effective operation of control systems.</li><li>Prepare DCS &amp; SIS system specifications to ensure accurate standardization of material.</li><li>Prepare cost estimates for respective projects, review and approve documentation developed by contractors to ensure effective selection of contractors that would meet Q-Chem needs within allocated budgets.</li><li>Work closely with ICS cybersecurity team to ensure all DCS &amp; SIS assets are secured.</li><li>Participating of keeping DCS &amp; SIS assets working within the target security level.</li></ul> Policies, Systems, Processes &amp; Procedures <ul><li>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes, and practices considering ‘international leading practices’ to improve productivity and operational efficiency.</li><li>Provide critical input to support the development of Section’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements.</li><li>Ensure team members comply with all Section’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.</li></ul> Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment <ul><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/services.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Required (Qualification1 / Discipline): Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Process Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physical Engineering.</li><li>Preferred (Qualification1 / Discipline): Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Process Control Engineering, Software systems Engineering, or any related discipline.</li></ul> Experience: <ul><li>Required (Years2 / Job Level3 / Industry): 5 – 7 years of experience in control system function preferably in O&amp;G Industry.</li><li>Preferred (Years2 / Job Level3 / Industry): Experience in Petrochemicals Industry or DCS/SIS systems OEM experiences.&nbsp;</li><li>2-3 years at a similar position as Emerson control system engineer for our client II, Honeywell control system engineer for our client or Yokogawa control system engineer for RLOC and Triconex safety systems.</li></ul> Preferred:&nbsp; <ul><li>Functional Safety Engineer..</li><li>ISA Certified Automation Professional® (CAP®) Certification.</li><li>ICS Cybersecurity Fundamentals.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Responsibilities: You will be required to perform the following: <ul><li>Conduct performance and compliance assessments for the facilities control systems and instrumentation and generate the related reports.</li><li>Develop engineering design scopes and packages.</li><li>Perform logic changes on Honeywell DCS Experion PKS and Honeywell ESD Safety Manager.</li><li>Troubleshoot and investigate system upsets and/or malfunctions and provide recommendations.</li><li>Conduct engineering job evaluation for plant modifications proposals.</li><li>Assist and provide technical consultation to Maintenance and Operation teams.</li><li>Provide support to Plant Operations Engineers.</li><li>Conduct and Review major studies and incidents investigations.</li><li>Maintain engineering drawings and Mark-ups as P&amp;ID’s, ILD’s and ISS’s.</li><li>Participate on studies and company studies including HAZOP and SIL studies, innovation programs, operational excellence, knowledge sharing, among others.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate on control systems (DCS, ESD, CCS, VMS, etc) FAT and SAT tests, commissioning and PAT as required.</li><li>Develop and mentor young engineers.&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>As the successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor degree or preferably master’s degree in related engineering discipline to control system (i.e Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineering, System Engineer or equivalent) from a recognized and approved program.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: As the successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following: <ul><li>Develop programs and best practices, monitor KPIs to improve Analyzer performance apply statistical tools to assess analyzer performance.</li><li>Develop and manage equipment strategies as per the site safety and reliability practices.</li><li>Provide subject matter expertise to operating facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams by consulting, providing awareness sessions, and participating in and leading technical exchanges and conferences.</li><li>Conduct benchmarks, business case studies, pilot and evaluate new Analyzer technologies to contribute to yield improvement.</li><li>Lead technical sessions such as the design review, model review, and commissioning for Analyzers.</li><li>Analyze chronicle problems and debottleneck complex analyzer problems to improve process operations and economic benefits.</li><li>Review standards and General Instructions and act as leading SME in the Analyzer field.</li><li>Remain abreast of industry standards developments (e.g., ASTM, ISA, ISO, IEC).</li><li>Identify and support opportunities to improve site analyzer performance.</li><li>Lead project execution for project proposals, initiatives, studies, and continuous improvement of solutions and problem solvers.</li><li>Develop project design specifications for analyzer systems</li><li>Perform analyzer engineering calculations (e.g., fast loop lag time, probe wake frequency, ventilation requirements, phase envelopes)</li><li>Support cost estimation for analyzers and analyzer systems</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>You must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or its equivalent.</li><li>You should have a minimum of 12 years of experience with Analyzers with at least 7 years of experience with online Process Analyzers in the oil &amp; gas, refining, or petrochemical industry, or related industries.</li><li>You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and working experience in various analytical chemistry techniques (Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Infrared &amp; Ultraviolet Spectroscopy) Physical Property Analyzers and Gas Detectors.</li><li>As well a strong understanding in key oil and gas, petrochemical or refining processes and their associated analyzer applications.</li><li>You should be experienced in Analyzer communication/transmission protocol and networking consideration for interface to Distributed Control Systems (DCS).</li><li>And be able to demonstrate knowledge of Industry standards, country-specific regulations, and local codes.</li><li>An understanding of refinery facilities, Feedstock/products movements, refinery margins, giveaways, and process yields is essential.</li><li>You should have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of analyzers.</li><li>You should also possess strong leadership skills to manage lead technical dialogues and steer technical teams.</li></ul> Knowledge, skills, and experience in any of the following areas will be an added advantage: <ul><li>Multivariate model-based analyzer applications for unique process measurements;</li><li>Multiple open platforms (e.g., MATLAB, Pirouette) to develop models;</li><li>OPC servers/Analyzer Data Network and DCS/PLC interface</li><li>Data analytics platforms (e.g. JMP, Seeq) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)</li></ul>

Responsibilities You will be required to perform the following: <ul><li>Conduct performance and compliance assessments for gas plants control systems and instrumentation and generate related reports.</li><li>Participate in field investigation and troubleshooting activities when needed and provide recommendation to restore control systems.</li><li>Conduct technical evaluations of control systems and instrumentation purchases.</li><li>Perform engineering studies.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>As successful candidate you must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum of (15) years of experience as field technical support, in the Oil/Gas industry.</li><li>The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Control Systems (ESD), field sensors and measurement devices, control valves, safety valves, and process analyzers. It is also expected to have minimum knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for control systems and network.</li><li>The candidate is expected to have knowledge of drawings and international standards related to control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:&nbsp; <ul><li>Demonstrate the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion.</li><li>Effectively represent an organization in high-level interactions with strategic partners with excellent communications as well as credibility as a leader and effectively interact with all organizational functions, including senior leadership.</li><li>Developing technologies for industrial environments, ideally in a large company with diverse operations and/or in oil and gas operations.</li><li>Revise and develop engineering standards to govern projects designs as well as providing consultations and support in this field.</li><li>Identify cutting edge technologies that will improve cybersecurity posture of existing and future oil and gas facilities.</li></ul> Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or its equivalent.</li><li>At least 10 years in working in related Industrial Control Systems (ICS) systems focusing on ICS Cybersecurity and Network, Wired and Wireless Networking and communications experience, preferably in Oil and Gas inside plants communications and networking.</li><li>Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing Plants Automations, Data/Digital Communications and Networking Architecture, Wireless technology and services, communications protocols, systems architecture design and interfaces inside Oil and Gas operating plants facilities and substations.</li><li>Understanding of ICS fundamentals including but not limited to: distributed control system (DCS) and supervisory control &amp; data acquisition (SCADA) architecture and the role of common system component.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of ICS architecture.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of IT and OT security best practices and understanding of the differences; - understanding of protocols common in ICS environments.</li><li>Knowledge of ICS cybersecurity international standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Renowned certifications in cybersecurity, preferably CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA or other industry relevant certifications</li></ul>
