Responsibilities: <ul><li>Review and release material purchase orders (Raw Material, Semi-Finished and/or manufactured parts) to cover requirements and support customer demand, maintaining Inventory levels within target.</li><li>Review and Execute exception codes (messages) in system (example: 10, 15 and 20) for planned purchase orders or pending approvals, since they indicate a situation (Purchase Orders Placement, Changes and/or Cancellations) that need an action to prevent Inventory Excess, Material Shortages, etc.</li><li>Plan and execute system messages. Responsibilities: Tax Compliance: <ul><li>Corporate income tax and indirect tax returns computation, filing and assessments for all relevant legal entities</li><li>Ensure all tax payments by due dates</li><li>Prepare and review current and deferred income tax provision calculations under US GAAP and journal entries</li><li>prepare tax reports/analysis within required schedule</li><li>&nbsp;maintain records and adequate documentation necessary to respond to Corporate or tax authority inquiries</li><li>Assist Tax Manager to mitigate tax risks by timely taking pro-active actions</li><li>Coordinate and support external and internal audits to ensure that audits are completed in a timely manner</li><li>Work towards successfully closure of tax assessment or audits implemented by tax authorities</li><li>Review of transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with Company Corporate policies and China tax regulations</li><li>Liaise with Regional Tax team and BU Finance team for day-to-day TP management and take part in quarterly Source P/L review</li></ul> Business Support: <ul><li>Coordinate with BU finance, logistics and other function from tax perspective</li><li>Relationship with local tax authorities and other relevant institutions is developed in a positive, constructive, problem solving and cooperative but compliant way</li><li>Assist Tax Manager to ensure China tax compliance and tax strategic matters are properly managed, executed, and taken care of.</li></ul> Performance Improvement: <ul><li>Assist Tax Manager in identifying potential areas for improvement, support the implementation of the initiatives to drive continuous optimization</li><li>Other tasks assigned by Tax Manager</li></ul> Requirements: Level of education and knowledge: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, finance, or other related fields</li></ul> Experience in general: <ul><li>2 - 5 years of working experience in tax function in a company with manufacturing background, experience in Big 4 accounting firm or a shared service is preferred</li></ul> Technical skills: <ul><li>Fluent in English required (both written and oral)</li><li>Knowledge of US and Chinese local GAAP is preferred</li><li>Proficient in MS Office, familiar with ERP accounting module as a functional end user</li></ul> Competencies, Behavior skills: <ul><li>Excellent interpersonal (including verbal and written communication), team and communication skills</li><li>Accountability and ownership for areas of responsibility</li></ul>
