Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Design and deploy hybrid and standalone battery storage EMS systems.</li><li>Work with BESS lead, proposal team and clients to ensure requirements and expectations are clear.</li><li>Working with SCADA team lead on wind, battery, solar and PV + Storage power systems during the design, development, implementation, and commissioning phases of projects.</li><li>Preparation of EMS architecture, system layout, system BOQ &amp; cable schedule.</li><li>Coordinate project site installation (if required), scheduling and manage schedules and owner’s expectation.</li><li>Deploy EMS solutions according to timelines. Troubleshoot problems until the site requirements are met.</li><li>Working with EMS vendor engineer or site engineer on programming substation RTAC units, and communication hardware using standard protocols.</li><li>Ensure that EMS system have been installed per project requirements and tested to meet Utility, and regional reliability council requirements.</li><li>Responsible to ensure SAFETY requirements are met.</li></ul> Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <ul><li>Experience with EMS software programming, EMS historians, MS SQL servers.</li><li>Experience with communication protocols for base-level devices: Modbus, Modbus TCP, OPC, DNP3, IEC 61850… etc&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of Managed switches, Oring, Schneider, Hirschman’s, MOXA, Cisco…etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with automation device integration</li><li>Experience with complete EMS system project life cycles</li><li>Experience with Power Utility scale EMS system development and design</li><li>Experience with FAT and SAT testing and documentation</li><li>Knowledge of Power Plant Networking, IT hardware, Security and Firewalls (a plus)&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with automation control systems: Well-known make PLC and Control Logix programming (a plus)</li><li>Working knowledge of Utility Meters, Protection Relays, PCS, BMS (a plus)</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>BE degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science Engineering</li><li>3 or more years of proven utility or industrial EMS experience.</li><li>Working knowledge of the renewable energy industry and projects a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with and able to stay current on EMS regulations and standards.</li><li>Client Satisfaction</li><li>Quality Work</li><li>Travel to site/vendor factory 40%</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develops and maintain Order &amp; Execution Management System by designing, developing, and supporting business requirements, following the software development lifecycle.&nbsp;</li><li>Individual contributor who will develop quality code.</li><li>Proactively engage and communicate with other teams like other Development, QA and Support as required.</li><li>Ensure full compliance to all and required training and regulatory requirements for the team.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>5-12 years of solid hands on experience in designing &amp; development of application in Core Java/.NET/C#.</li><li>Basic understanding of RDBMS &amp; Middleware/Messaging layer Solace, Tibco EMS.</li><li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.</li><li>Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.</li><li>Familiarity with Automation, Agile development artifacts, best practices, and techniques.</li><li>Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications</li><li>Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems.</li><li>Passionate willingness to self-learn new technologies and best practices.</li><li>Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment with minimal supervision</li><li>Experience in investment banking domain, cash equities &amp; order/execution management Systems</li><li>Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or any IT stream.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Ensure allocation of day shift orders are completed</li><li>Co-ordinate the loading of orders</li><li>Promote continuous improvement activities</li><li>Prepare monthly management report – factory expenses, overtime, absenteeism, forklift costs, health centre visits etc.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring all containers and trucks are loaded as per Company loading standards</li><li>Responsible for the accurate scanning of all allocated product and the accurate loading of all transport vehicles</li><li>Responsible for the investigation of all load exceptions and initiate corrective action</li><li>Liaison directly with transport suppliers regarding despatch and delivery of containers</li><li>Responsible for the daily co-ordination and management of despatch and delivery time slots</li><li>Maintain inventory records and ensure validity of actual stock</li><li>Preparation of and management of quarantine stock</li><li>Ensure production lines are kept clear at all times</li><li>Respond appropriately to urgent requests for units and liase directly with assembly supervisors</li><li>Responsible for the preparing and maintaining an efficient layout and product locations within the warehouse</li><li>Monitor house keeping standards</li><li>Administer the Kronos time keeping system for warehouse personnel</li><li>Ensure that EMS, BPD, and KPI boards are maintained.</li><li>Monitor labour requirements and maintain sufficient levels for despatch and distribution</li><li>Implement and maintain leave management plan </li><li>Monitor absenteeism and lateness and provide counseling and/or discipline&nbsp;where appropriate </li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements: <ul><li>Supervisory experience in a large/medium manufacturing environment</li><li>Knowledge of Quality Accreditation (ISO9001 and ISO14001) framework</li><li>Experienced in warehouse operations</li><li>Certificate IV in Frontline Management (preferable)</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions</li></ul>
