Sr. Business Development Manager (Moden Trade)

Responsibilities:&nbsp; Strategic Growth &amp; Market Expansion <ul><li>Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy for domestic and international markets.</li><li>Export Clients (especially for food ingredients and value-added products).</li><li>Identify new market opportunities in food ingredients, fruit pulp and IQF industries and&nbsp;value -added products.</li><li>Conduct market research to analyse consumer trends, competitor activities, pricing insights, and demand patterns.</li></ul> Revenue &amp; Sales Leadership <ul><li>Drive annual sales targets and growth plans for all food processing verticals.</li><li>Build high-performing sales, distribution, and channel teams.</li><li>Evaluate and optimize sales routes, distribution networks, and dealer/channel profitability.</li></ul> Key Account Management <ul><li>Identify and onboard strategic clients, including:</li><li>Modern trade</li><li>Institutional buyers</li><li>Bulk buyers</li><li>Export clients&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Manage long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and trade partners.</li></ul> Brand Development &amp; Marketing Collaboration <ul><li>Work with the marketing team to plan brand positioning, pricing strategies, product visibility, and promotional activities.</li><li>Explore partnerships with farmers, aggregators, food processing clusters and sourcing vendors.</li><li>Identify and negotiate tie-ups with co-packers, distributors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers.</li></ul> &nbsp;Business Analysis &amp; Reporting <ul><li>Monitor sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and business analytics.</li><li>Provide monthly reports on business performance, competition mapping and growth projections.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>MBA in Marketing/Sales, Food Technology, or related discipline preferred.</li><li>10+ years of experience in Food ingredients/FMCG/food processing/agribusiness.</li><li>Strong network across distributors, institutional buyers, and supply chain partners.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Accurately process trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LC), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Documentary Collections, and Trade Loans.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate execution of trade finance transactions, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Verify trade documents for completeness and compliance with UCP 600, ISBP, and other relevant trade finance govering rules and regulations.</li><li>Liaise with counterparties and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to trade finance transactions.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all trade finance transactions and activities, daily reconciliation.</li><li>Assist in resolving operational issues and ensuring seamless trade finance operations.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Minimum 3 years of Trade Finance Operations experience.</li><li>Sound knowledge in International Trade Governing Rules of UCP, ISBP, URC, URR, Incoterms.</li><li>Familiarity with AML/CFT Guidelines for Trade Finance.</li><li>Meticulous and possess a keen eye for details.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, follow-up and communications skills.</li><li>Able to work independently and a strong team player.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Minimum a recognized degree in a relevant field.</li></ul>

The Role: Manage and drive the Clearing and Forwarding businesses in the West Africa region, to ensure sustainable business growth and performance. The applicant will need to initiate the Freight Forwarding network and footprint expansion strategy across the West Africa Region, to implement Ocean &amp; Air product procurement strategies in key West Africa Region Countries, to implement key Trade Lane strategies, ensuring strategic compliance across the Western African network, and mitigating risk associated to contract liability with network offices/partners. Key Responsibilities: • Network&nbsp;To grow Freight Forwarding competence across the region through.o Bolstering Freight Forwarding competence within existing freight forwarding operations in the West Africa Regiono Maintaining and expanding existing partner agent relationships and opening their services to our global officeso Collaborating with partners in key geographies and opening their services to our global officeso Partnering, Leveraging, and Acquiring new freight forwarding businesseso Collaborating and enhancing business between the global officeso Ensure that each Business unit sets and meets its budgetary requirements, as set out by the EVP FFSSA.o Ensure that the Global ERP system and financial systems are implemented and functional in all Business unitso The People and Culture objectives are set out and achievedo Financial performance goals are meto To grow Freight Forwarding across the region througho Implementation of customs services and compliance thereofo Implementation of Air and Ocean operational teams to facilitate the throughput of shipmentso Collaborating and enhancing business between business units • Business Developmento To develop business within the West Africa Region and other tradeso Developing marketing strategies internally and externally for alignment and maximum exposure and expansion (new &amp; existing) businesso Collaborating with Regional Commercial, Sales, Product, Operations and Trade Lane teams to execute strategies for maximum market growth and benefit across the various pillars.o Analysing market data and KPI’s to adjust to market demands • Strategy&nbsp;o Staying abreast of industry and market developments, proactively responding where required to maintain progress and support.o Supply guidance on conceptual designs, developments and implementation strategies across the West Africa region. Minimum RequirementsQualifications and Experience Required • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a field related to the position • 10 – 15 years Freight Forwarding experience • MD level experience in Freight Forwarding • Must be willing to travel • Geographical and geopolitical knowledge, ability to interface and communicate with different cultures is essential • 3 years prior experience within the Freight Forwarding industry as a P&amp;L head. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a logistics or clearing and forwarding environment • Good understanding of Import/Export procedures and Incoterms • Prior experience within Commercial / Operations in the industry is preferred Skills Required • Strong networker • Strong analytical skills • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must. • Communication capability at all levels, both internally and externally • Ability to work independently and be a team player simultaneously • Excellent Communication and presentation skills • Work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines and be a self-starter • Ability to work independently and be a team player simultaneously • Must take ownership of the position, be dedicated and innovative • Ability to present the company services and group in a professional manner • Willingness to share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members • Willingness to acquire new skills and gain knowledge and share best practices.&nbsp;

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Supervise logistics staffs to manage their daily operation for the team to achieve a predefined&nbsp;target.</li><li>Manage 3PL’s to handle any operation activities in DC team to meet customer’s requirement and ensure to achieve highest customer’s satisfactory (ECE : Extraordinary Customer Experience)</li><li>Liaise with 3PL’s to monitor DC Workload levels and take necessary actions to ensure the minimum overtime is required but still meet prescribed productivities and service goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with 3PL’s to deploy the continuous improvement process and Kaizen activities in DC operation using company OA requirement as a benchmarking.</li><li>Develop, maintain and review physical procedures and standard work for all functional areas of DC to ensure they are up-to-date and match with the actual operation.</li><li>Liaise with Global Trade Services and appointed customs broker to ensure all customs related matters are executed per local customs law/regulation.</li><li>Close cooperation with BU ITCOs for HS Code Classification.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with related parties including company customs broker, DC Operation (3PL’s) and customers/customer’s broker to ensure that customs reports per Malaysia bonded regulation has been prepared and submitted on-time with 100% accuracy.</li><li>Manage carriers/forwarders (all modes; including air, ocean, truck and small package) to deliver shipments to DC/customers on-time. Monitor and be able to scrutinize and on freight spending especially those irregular high spending.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage DC spending to achieve CPC target.</li><li>Being responsible to provide an update to Corporate&nbsp;for any regular cost review.</li><li>Participate in any new system enhancements; e.g. S/4 Hana Implementation, etc. that is related to&nbsp;DC.</li><li>Support any Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Implementation and other requests from Bus/Corporate</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in any fields with 8-10 years logistics working experience.</li><li>Hands-on experience on DC operation and process improvement. Experience managing 3PL’s&nbsp;would be an advantage.</li><li>SAP Experience on WM is preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of import/export customs procedures and requirements including licensing,&nbsp;FTA and classification requirements. Experience on customs bonded and LMW is desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated personal leadership of DC teams, demonstrating organizational and management&nbsp;skills, and achieving quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration&nbsp;(internal and 3PL’s team)</li><li>Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach&nbsp;logical conclusions and decisions; results oriented; relies on fact-based logic for decision-making</li><li>Ability to communicate with senior management through well formulated presentations and&nbsp;discussions</li><li>Business acumen, a detailed understanding of business processes and the ability to&nbsp;institute/influence change management as needed.</li><li>Proven computer skills in Microsoft suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word and etc.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Sales and Marketing Growth Plans – Crafted plans to explode total business growth</li><li>Portfolio Management – Working on multi-tier, multi-segment categories to accelerate growth across different consumer groups.</li><li>Distributor Management – Working with lot of distributors across the markets from business planning to marketing and sales strategies to in-store, below-the-line and above-the-line executions. Trained distributors on sell-out analysis to uncover growth gaps and opportunities.</li><li>Consumer-centric Category-Country Strategy – Designed and introduced the consumer insight-based growth strategy by category-country combination to unlock category and market growth, which was previously non-existent in the business.</li><li>Regional Campaign Design and Execution –Working on ideation, regional design and local adaptation and execution of campaigns that build on each category strategy.</li><li>Supply Chain Management – Initiated the full supply chain tracking system for Markets from ordering to shipping to systematize issue escalation and resolution (late ordering, delays, shelf-life issues, customer complaints) more actionable.</li><li>Forecasting and Demand Planning – Leads the demand planning process with the distributors starting with sell-out analysis and campaign planning to sell-in forecasting and shipment planning. Feeds this data to regional demand planning to ensure stock availability from Export Affiliates.</li><li>Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.</li><li>Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills</li></ul> Requirement:<ul><li>Education Background: Business Administration Degree</li><li>Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree minimum</li><li>Working Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Sales/ Marketing/ Business Development</li><li>Technical Skills: Proven progression in a product development</li></ul> Other Specific Requirements:<ul><li>Strong strategic and execution of sales</li><li>Excellent, proven communication, and influencing</li><li>Looking for having into Vietnam market</li></ul> Personality/ Attitude: <ul><li>Proactive, assertive, persistent, and empowering people</li><li>Able to work independently</li></ul>
