Responsibilities: <ul><li>As a Tax Manager in our team, you will work as a business partner and provide support in areas such as:</li><li>Manage and support preparation of annual corporate income tax return, VAT, economic substance reporting etc.</li><li>Oversee preparation of transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with external advisor and Tax Director</li><li>Ensure robust tax compliance processes are in place across the countries in the region</li><li>Ensures effective and timely reporting to internal stakeholders</li><li>Support with the periodic and annual direct and indirect tax reporting to the authorities</li><li>Support with the periodic and annual reporting to the Group Tax department.</li><li>Closely monitor changes to tax legislation across the region and advise on the impact of the new legislation on the Business</li><li>Support with identifying opportunities to optimize tax positions and to mitigate tax risks</li><li>Support with the management and response to Tax audits initiated by the tax authorities</li><li>Support with the implementation of relevant tax updates</li><li>Interacts effectively and works closely with the Tax community as well as other functions (accountants, controllers, legal, IT etc.)</li><li>Provide training as needed to relevant stakeholders within Finance, Accounting, Internal Control and other departments.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>A Masters degree in Tax Law, international Business Law, CPA, CTA or ACCA is preferred.</li><li>7+ years of relevant working experience within Big 4 or international Business environment (FMCG experience is preferred).</li><li>Extensive knowledge of GCC and international tax legislations is required</li><li>Exposure to Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Transfer pricing is required</li><li>Knowledge of import, export procedures and Free zones schemes</li><li>Proactive attitude toward problem-solving</li><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills both verbal and written</li><li>Fluent communication in English. Arabic is highly preferred, enabling you to seamlessly interact with stakeholders across the GCC.</li></ul>

ABOUT: We are building a world class Global Trade Services (GTS) organization and the GTS - Automotive Business Unit senior analyst (based in Hungary) plays a critical role in supporting trade operations and compliance within the Business Unit (BU). The GTS AUT BU senior analyst serves as a trusted advisor and key team member within TE’s Operational Compliance team for the BU. The purpose of this role is to facilitate TE’s compliance, at the BU level, with import and export regulations globally to enhance global trade compliance, reduce risk, increase responsiveness to issues and opportunities, and support effective operational aspects of international trade. This role reports into the Senior Manager GTS Automotive EMEAI and is a key member of the Global Trade Services (GTS) team. As part of the GTS team, the GTS AUT BU senior analyst will join a group of professionals who are passionate about ensuring the future growth of the business by providing business solutions for compliance with global trade laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate and thrive in a global environment while maintaining integrity, taking accountability, and working together.&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsibilities: <ul><li>Execute trade operations and provide compliance oversight for the assigned BU in EMEA to ensure TE’s compliance with import/export laws and regulations</li><li>Maintain trade operations and compliance activities in accordance with TE policies, procedures, and controls, in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the BU</li><li>Act as a point of contact for BU stakeholders in EMEA on trade-related matters.</li><li>Actively contribute to duty savings and other projects</li><li>Embed and train GTS SOPs and other processes locally</li><li>Work with BU stakeholders and counsel in EMEA to understand business changes and develop trade-related solutions/strategies and controls to ensure compliance</li><li>Maintain BU-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the operations</li><li>Partner with Trade Compliance Professionals and Stakeholders across the Enterprise</li><li>Partner with GTS Governance to monitor trade compliance regulatory and legislative changes, assess the potential impact to the BU, and determine the necessary actions and communications to the appropriate stakeholders</li><li>Work with GTS Governance teams to conduct trade compliance audits and oversee corrective action plans</li><li>Partner with GTS Governance to develop and administer effective trade compliance training as required throughout the region and organization</li><li>Ensure appropriate utilization of the GTS Operations Service Centre for product classification (import and export), restricted party screening, and duty savings compliance, and otherwise ensure proper country of origin determination, valuation, and admissibility</li><li>Work with the Operational Service Centres to identify, evaluate and administer opportunities to facilitate trade in a cost-effective and compliant manner (e.g., make use of applicable Free Trade Agreements, processing regimes etc.)</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with internal functions, including corporate functions, to encourage awareness of global trade compliance issues, pro-actively identify trade risk and threats, and develop appropriate trade compliance controls</li><li>Talent Development &amp; Leadership</li><li>Create a culture of engagement and performance in alignment with TE’s core values</li><li>Lead by example and act with empathy</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelors degree required (international business, supply chain, law, or related field)</li><li>6+ years’ experience in global trade compliance</li><li>Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in supporting trade functions within an industrial, communications, transportation, or similar business</li><li>Functional knowledge of import and export regulations and familiarity with customs practices in Hungary and preferably other countries in the EMEA region</li><li>Functional knowledge of customs classification, including direct experience classifying products under the Harmonized Tariff System</li><li>Preferred: Functional knowledge of export classification</li><li>Preferred: Familiarity with customs valuation (e.g., assists, transfer price adjustments)</li><li>Preferred: Experience in post-entry/post-shipment audits and process audits in general</li><li>Preferred: Experience actively participating in cross-functional group projects</li><li>Experience interfacing directly and effectively with government agency authorities</li><li>Advanced Excel and/or PowerBI skills are a plus</li><li>Proven ability to work with variety of business groups, including supply chain, legal, procurement and finance</li><li>Highly developed decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent organizational habits and priority management</li><li>Ability to foster teamwork and internal and external relationships</li><li>Customer focused with a commitment to quality</li><li>Preferred: Customs Broker License or other Customs / Trade certification&nbsp;</li><li>Travel may be necessary in fulfilment of responsibilities&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>

Responsibilities:&nbsp; <ul><li>Sales and Marketing Growth Plans – Crafted plans to explode total company business growth in Foodservice Channel.&nbsp;</li><li>Portfolio Management – Working on multi-tier, multi-segment categories to accelerate growth across different consumer groups to maximize the business growth, sales, and profit for the company&nbsp;</li><li>Distributor Management – Working with distributors across the markets from business planning to marketing and sales strategies to in-store, below-the-line and above-the-line executions. Collaborate with distributors on sell-out analysis to uncover growth gaps and opportunities.&nbsp;</li><li>Consumer-centric Category-Country Strategy – Designed and introduced the consumer insight-based growth strategy by category-country combination to unlock category and market growth, which was previously non-existent in the company business.&nbsp;</li><li>Regional Campaign Design and Execution –Working on ideation, regional design and local adaptation and execution of campaigns that build on each category strategy.&nbsp;</li><li>Select Customer Development – new business development of potential select key customers (FS/e-comm) that the KH distributor partner may engage for new sources of revenue.&nbsp;</li><li>Key Account Development – conduct Joint Value Plan with key customers in FOODSERVICE, and eCommerce.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the JVP is fully aligned with the distributor for monthly execution.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead/participate in the distributor monthly sales cycle operations plan to ensure timely execution of monthly category &amp; customer plans.&nbsp;</li><li>Supply Chain Management – Initiated the full supply chain tracking system for company Markets from ordering to shipping to systematize issue escalation and resolution (late ordering, delays, quality issues, customer complaints) more actionable.&nbsp;</li><li>Forecasting and Demand Planning – Leads the demand planning process with the distributors starting with sell-out analysis and campaign planning to sell-in forecasting and shipment planning.
