Role Description: <ul><li>The Master Data Manager will join the Business Unit’s Digital, Data &amp; Technology (DD&amp;T) organization and report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Industrial &amp; Commercial Transportation (ICT). As part of DD&amp;T, this role is a key enabler of operational excellence, digital transformation, and AI readiness.</li><li>The Master Data Manager will coordinate cross-functional Master Data Owners, define and track data quality KPIs, and ensure master data issues are corrected in a sustainable and scalable manner.</li><li>Rather than executing transactional data maintenance, this role orchestrates standards, transparency, and accountability across the Business Unit, ensuring master data supports business processes, process intelligence, and AI-driven initiatives.</li></ul> Responisbilities: 1. Master Data Governance &amp; Coordination <ul><li>Establish and operationalize a ICT Master Data Governance framework.</li><li>Coordinate nominated Master Data Owners across functions (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Commercial, Product Management, etc.).</li><li>Define clear roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths for data ownership.</li><li>Facilitate recurring cross-functional data governance forums and reviews.</li></ul> 2. Data Quality KPI Definition &amp; Monitoring <ul><li>Define measurable KPIs for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and integrity.</li><li>Implement dashboards (in collaboration with DD&amp;T teams) to monitor data health across systems (SAP S/4HANA, Hydra MES, Planisware, Salesforce, SAP IBP).</li><li>Establish target thresholds and continuous improvement plans.</li><li>Ensure transparency of data quality performance to functional leadership.</li></ul> 3. Sustainable Issue Resolution <ul><li>Identify systemic root causes of master data defects.</li><li>Drive sustainable corrective actions with Master Data Owners and process stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure data issues are resolved at process level, not through recurring manual corrections.</li><li>Partner with DD&amp;T Process Automation &amp; Process Intelligence teams to eliminate recurring data.</li></ul> 4. Enable AI &amp; Process Intelligence <ul><li>Ensure master data structures and governance support:</li><li>Advanced analytics and AI use cases</li><li>Process mining and task mining initiatives</li><li>Reliable automation and digital workflows</li><li>Collaborate with the DD&amp;T AI Lab to ensure master data is AI-ready and supports model performance.</li><li>Support data standardization to enable reuse of models and interoperability across functions.</li></ul> 5. Transformation &amp; Continuous Improvement <ul><li>Promote data as a strategic asset within the Business Unit.</li><li>Drive adoption of standardized templates, definitions, and taxonomies.</li><li>Support SAP S/4HANA evolution and system integrations from a data governance perspective.</li><li>Contribute to digital transformation programs by embedding data quality controls early in process design.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, ERP environments, or cross-functional process management.</li><li>Experience working in global, cross-functional manufacturing or industrial environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred) and enterprise data flows.</li><li>Experience defining and tracking data quality KPIs.</li><li>Knowledge of data analytics environments (e.g., Databricks) is a plus.</li><li>Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: Design Authority Responsibilities <ul><li>Validate solution designs and ensure architectural consistency across modules and projects.</li><li>Conduct detailed design reviews for GAPs, FDDs, and technical specifications before Design Authority approval.</li><li>Identify integration and performance risks early in the design phase and guide mitigation strategies.</li><li>Support the Design Authority in ensuring end-to-end solution coherence, especially across Finance, SCM, Project Ops, and Sales.</li><li>Work closely with the Domain Architect ERP to ensure:</li><li>Alignment with our client ERP domain architecture and roadmap.</li><li>Adherence to Microsoft’s D365 best practices and upgrade paths.</li><li>System-critical modifications are designed and implemented with risk awareness.</li><li>Data migration and interface designs follow architectural standards.</li><li>Collaborate with Lead Consultants and Developers to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and maintainable.</li></ul> Solution Delivery Responsibilities <ul><li>Provide hands-on architecture support to delivery teams during all project phases (Blueprint, Build, Test, Deploy).</li><li>Define and communicate solution patterns and reusable components to increase delivery efficiency.</li><li>Oversee the technical integrity of ERP solutions and their alignment with the target architecture.</li><li>Support complex problem-solving, performance optimization, and integration design.</li><li>Ensure compliance with our client ERP governance, documentation, and security standards.</li><li>Act as the quality gate for designs entering the Design Authority approval process.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft D365 ERP solution design and implementation, with deep knowledge across multiple modules (Finance, SCM, or Project Operations).</li><li>Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Consultant in large-scale international ERP programs.</li><li>Strong understanding of D365 data models, integrations (Data Management Framework, Dual Write, APIs), and reporting (SSRS, Power BI).</li><li>Experience in solution governance, design validation, and architecture documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with Azure integration services, Power Platform, and lifecycle management tools (LCS).</li><li>Agile mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong delivery orientation.</li><li>Ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams, ensuring alignment between design, build, and deployment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both written and verbal).</li></ul>
