Technical Sales Engineer, Korea/Taiwan/Malaysia - Oil Free Centrifugal (OFC) Solutions

Sales Representative Commercial & Institutional Buildings

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Create technical design documents and solution specifications.</li><li>Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation, reports, and project deliverables.</li><li>Develop and maintain system documentation to capture key design decisions and application architecture.</li><li>Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of applications according to project and change request requirements.</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain software databases and tables, including application data structures, interfaces, and communication processes.</li><li>Develop, enhance, and support applications using AS400/IBM i technologies, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, SQLRPGLE, CL, COBOL, and DB2.</li><li>Utilize ARCAD and Rational Developer for i (RDi) for source management, development, build, deployment, and software lifecycle management.</li><li>Manage software releases, deployments, and DevOps-related activities for IBM i applications.</li><li>Review code changes delivered by contract developers and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.</li><li>Manage vendor deliverables to ensure quality, compliance, and timely completion.</li><li>Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and recommend software improvements to optimize system stability and performance.</li><li>Collaborate with production support teams to perform root cause analysis, resolve production incidents, conduct code reviews, and execute unit testing.</li><li>Independently install, customize, integrate, and support software packages and applications.</li><li>Work effectively within cross-functional Agile delivery teams, utilizing project management and collaboration tools.</li><li>Support concurrent project deliveries, production issues, and change requests while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting business commitments</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li><li>6–9 years of experience in Core Banking support and development.</li><li>Strong experience in AS400/IBM i development using RPGLE, Free Format RPG, SQLRPGLE, CL, COBOL, and DB2.</li><li>Experience with ARCAD and Rational Developer for i (RDi) development environments and deployment processes.</li><li>Knowledge of Global CIF (Customer Information File) systems and customer data management processes would be highly advantageous.</li><li>Extensive experience in production support, incident management, and service management environments.</li><li>Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects, enhancements, and change requests simultaneously.</li><li>Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices will be an added advantage.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IBM i architecture, database design, performance tuning, and software lifecycle management.</li><li>Experience with ALDON change management tools is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of Silverlakes banking software suite will be an added advantage.</li><li>Prior experience in team leadership, technical leadership, vendor management, or people management would be a plus.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Acquire and maintain proficiency in all company Oil Free Centrifugal (OFC) compressor products, solutions and services, particularly system design and operation.</li><li>Provide application support to all OEMs, wholesalers and end users</li><li>Provide technical support to customers and respond to telephone and e-mail technical inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.</li><li>Visit sites as required to review systems and diagnose problems.</li><li>Organize training material and conduct technical seminars on product application and installation in conjunction with local team and overseas visitors.</li><li>Ensure that customers are aware of key points in all new applications. Verify that key points are understood and observed – prevent mis-applications.</li><li>Analyze and study product and system performance data; suggest improvements that may lead to lower costs or a better performing system.</li><li>Support field personnel and customers’ R&amp;D projects (new product development, field studies)</li><li>Provide a tangible application and commissioning supports, state-of-the-art solutions to the customers using company Oil Free Centrifugal compressor and integration solution products, including but not limited to controllers, inverter and line components</li><li>Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including but not limited to cross countries support of company Oil Free Centrifugal compressor applications.</li><li>Providing technical support for new business opportunity inspired from daily, various technical interaction with customers and potential customers.</li><li>Lead new business development activities in adjacent business areas and/or any new business portfolio company to add for future business growth</li><li>Coming up with technical solution to address customers’ pain points &amp; needs in short &amp; mid-term and connecting them to NPD funnel and/or providing solution &amp; system integration support collaborating with in-region vertical marketing, business leaders, country sales team and R&amp;D team</li><li>Actively join project sales activities with country sales team not only for technical support but also to provide value added sales approach to improve project lead quality</li><li>Perform simple research job thru own experience, technical literatures survey or HVAC/R show participation as assigned by the supervisor</li><li>Identify and support any opportunities for upsell, cross-sell and land new customers</li><li>Work on Safety (KC) Certification (as needed)</li><li>Support customers outside of Korea/Taiwan (as needed)</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>University degree in Refrigeration/HVAC/electronic control systems or equivalent in Engineering.</li><li>Five (5) years of experience in Oil Free Centrifugal (OFC) performance test, OFC compressor, chiller and air-conditioning industry experience.</li><li>Excellent hands-on technical knowledge of Oil Free Centrifugal (OFC) compressors including control algorithm, system design, electrical systems including inverter driver, controllers and trouble shooting.</li><li>A strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential for this role.</li><li>Good written and oral in Korean Language (English language skill is an added advantage).</li><li>Solid computer skills including MS Office, Internet software, E-mail, Windows.</li><li>Excellent spreadsheet knowledge required.</li><li>Excellent planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and an eye for errors.</li><li>Able to communicate with all levels within the organization.</li><li>Able to learn and work independently, whilst still working as an integral part of the team.</li><li>Mandarin language is an added advantage.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Systematic expansion of market share and revenue, as well as the acquisition of new customers for the entire shopping basket.</li><li>Managing existing customers in your sales territory with the goal of securing and expanding the business and ensuring customer satisfaction</li><li>Systematic acquisition of new customers with a focus on customers and projects in the commercial and institutional building &amp; utility sector.</li><li>Offer follow-up and support in the preparation and implementation of projects with our partner companies and key customers</li><li>Conducting market, trend and customer analysis as well as ongoing market monitoring.</li><li>You will regularly and independently maintain and document relevant customer and project data in the respective CRM systems.</li><li>Sales and profit responsibility for customers in your sales territory&nbsp;</li><li>Contract negotiations and discussions on terms and conditions, or the corresponding preparation, taking into account internal process and company guidelines.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Completed electrical engineering training (e.g., apprenticeship, studies in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technician or master craftsman)</li><li>Professional experience in sales (selling products requiring explanation)</li><li>Experience in the conception and delivery of customer-oriented presentations and training sessions</li><li>Acting responsibly and independently</li><li>Business administration fundamentals</li><li>Native-level German skills are required; written and spoken English skills are an advantage.</li><li>High flexibility and willingness to travel on business</li><li>Experience or market knowledge, e.g., regarding SF6-free medium-voltage switchgear and low-voltage switchgear construction, is advantageous</li></ul>
