Role Description: <ul><li>The Executive Director of Operations is responsible for the leadership, performance and operational excellence of Mount Kilimanjaro Safari Clubs portfolio of safari lodges, camps, safari businesses and future hospitality ventures.</li><li>Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer – Hospitality &amp; Conservation, the role has executive accountability for the day-to-day and long-term performance of the Companys operations, ensuring exceptional safari and hospitality experiences, consistently high accommodation and service standards, effective asset management, operational efficiency and sustainable profitability across the portfolio.</li><li>The Executive Director of Operations translates the Companys strategy and commercial commitments into operational execution. The role ensures that what the Company sells is consistently and successfully delivered across every stage of the guest journey, from reservation handover and pre-arrival preparation through accommodation, safari experiences, on-property services and departure.</li><li>The Executive Director of Operations is accountable for operational delivery, on-ground sales and trade relationships in market, guest conversion and on-property revenue and expense management.</li></ul> Responsibilities&nbsp; 1. Strategic Leadership &amp; Operational Business Performance – 20% <ul><li>Partner with the Chief Executive Officer to translate the strategic direction of Mount Kilimanjaro Safari Club into clear operational priorities, business plans and measurable performance outcomes.</li><li>Provide executive leadership across the Companys safari, lodge, camp and hospitality operations, ensuring effective execution of the Companys strategic and commercial priorities.</li><li>Act as a custodian of the Companys operational assets, financial resources and reputation, applying a long-term ownership mindset to operational decision-making.</li><li>Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across the operational organization.</li><li>Monitor business performance through financial, operational, guest experience, asset and people indicators and ensure timely intervention where performance falls below expectation.</li><li>Lead regular executive business reviews and property performance reviews to ensure corrective actions and opportunities are effectively implemented.</li><li>Identify operational risks and opportunities and recommend actions that strengthen profitability, resilience, service quality and long-term business sustainability.</li><li>Build scalable operating structures, standards and systems capable of supporting the Companys future growth and portfolio expansion.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the operational business.</li></ul> 2. Safari Business, Hospitality &amp; Guest Experience – 20% <ul><li>Provide executive leadership for Mount Kilimanjaro Safari Clubs safari business and hospitality operations across the portfolio.</li><li>Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional safari, accommodation and hospitality experiences across all lodges, camps and safari operations.</li><li>Take executive accountability for the operational delivery of the complete guest journey, from reservation handover and pre-arrival preparation through arrival, accommodation, safari activities and departure.</li><li>Provide executive oversight of accommodation, front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, guiding, game drives, guest activities, safari logistics, fleet operations, maintenance, engineering and operational support services.</li><li>Establish and maintain clear operating and service standards across the portfolio while allowing properties to retain appropriate authenticity and sense of place.</li></ul> 3. Commercial Delivery, On-Ground Sales &amp; Financial Stewardship – 15% <ul><li>Take accountability for the operational delivery of the Companys commercial strategy across safari operations, lodges and camps.</li><li>Build and maintain strong on-ground relationships with tour operators, travel agents, DMCs, trade partners, corporate clients and other relevant market stakeholders.</li><li>Drive upselling and on-property revenue opportunities across accommodation, food and beverage, safari activities, transfers, retail and ancillary services.</li><li>Ensure operational teams understand and effectively deliver commercial campaigns, packages, products and commitments developed by the Commercial function.</li></ul> 4. Product, Accommodation &amp; Asset Excellence – 15% <ul><li>Drive the continuous operational enhancement of the Companys safari products, accommodation experiences and hospitality offerings.</li><li>Ensure lodges, camps, guest accommodation, public spaces and operational facilities evolve in line with guest expectations, operational requirements and the Companys positioning.</li></ul> Requirements: Qualifications &amp; Experience <ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years progressive executive leadership experience within Safari hospitality, tourism or related industries.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years leading multi-property or multi-business operations at an executive level.</li><li>Proven experience developing and executing business strategy and organizational transformation.</li><li>Strong commercial, financial and operational leadership experience.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading organizational growth, acquisitions, new business ventures or expansion projects.</li><li>Experience working with Boards and executive leadership teams.</li><li>Experience leading geographically dispersed operations across multiple locations.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Strong understanding of East African hospitality, safari and tourism markets</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead end-to-end supply chain activities across planning, customer service and logistics</li><li>Drive S&amp;OP, demand planning, forecast quality and inventory management processes</li><li>Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to support business priorities and growth</li><li>Manage relationships with logistics providers, warehouses, distributors and key external partners</li><li>Monitor service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory health, cost and operational performance</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost to serve and customer experience</li><li>Lead continuous improvement and supply chain transformation initiatives</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Approximately 10+ years of Supply Chain experience, including leadership across Planning, Customer Service or Logistics</li><li>Proven background within FMCG, Food &amp; Beverage, Consumer Goods or a closely related industry</li><li>Strong hands-on experience in S&amp;OP, demand planning, inventory management and domestic logistics</li><li>Experience influencing senior commercial stakeholders in a matrix environment</li><li>People management or functional leadership experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Fluent Mandarin and English required</li></ul>

Responsibilities: Financial Reporting &amp; Accounting: <ul><li>Manage month-end close and reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.</li><li>Prepare and review profit &amp; loss statements, overhead reports, and variance analyses.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of financial postings across accounts and cost centers.</li><li>Review balance sheet reconciliations and proactively identify potential risks and issues.</li><li>Support statutory reporting requirements and annual financial statement preparation.</li><li>Coordinate tax-related reporting and compliance activities.</li><li>Support internal and external audit processes.</li></ul> Financial Planning &amp; Analysis: <ul><li>Consolidate regional financial results and management reporting across multiple markets.</li><li>Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes.</li><li>Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to management.</li><li>Identify key risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.</li><li>Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and financial analyses to support decision-making.</li><li>Provide financial insights on business trends and operational performance.</li></ul> Business Partnering: <ul><li>Act as a key finance contact for regional and local stakeholders.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and analyze financial data.</li><li>Support alignment of financial assumptions, planning processes, and reporting requirements across markets.</li><li>Present financial information and performance updates to management teams.</li><li>Drive continuous process improvements and promote best practices across the finance function.</li><li>Support regional transformation initiatives, systems implementations, and ad hoc projects.</li></ul> Requirements: Experience: <ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.</li><li>Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, FP&amp;A, Accounting, or Commercial Finance.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent.</li><li>Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.</li><li>Audit, tax, or statutory reporting experience is advantageous.</li><li>Experience working in a regional or multinational environment is preferred.</li></ul> Skills &amp; Competencies: <ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.</li><li>Effective time management and prioritization skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Welcome and professionally greet guests, creating a warm and personalised first impression.</li><li>Manage guest seating, table allocation and reservations, ensuring smooth restaurant flow.</li><li>Coordinate closely with F&amp;B service teams to manage guest arrivals, waiting times and special requests.</li><li>Maintain strong knowledge of the restaurant, menus, outlets and services to confidently assist guests.</li><li>Handle guest enquiries and requests professionally and escalate concerns where required.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Previous experience in luxury / ultra-luxury hospitality, preferably within F&amp;B, guest relations, hostessing or similar guest-facing roles.</li><li>Excellent grooming, presentation and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong English communication skills.</li><li>Additional language is mandatory with preference for candidates fluent in Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Greek, Portuguese, Chinese or Japanese.</li><li>Candidates should ideally have experience working with an international / multicultural guest profile and within a luxury service environment.</li></ul>
