Role Description: <ul><li>We are partnering with a leading global manufacturing organization to appoint a Global Director, Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A).</li><li>Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving financial planning, business performance, commercial insights, and business intelligence across a global footprint.</li><li>The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting executive decision-making, leading FP&amp;A activities, enhancing business intelligence capabilities, and partnering with senior leadership to drive sustainable business growth.</li></ul> Responsibilities: Financial Planning &amp; Performance Management <ul><li>Lead the Groups annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.</li><li>Develop robust financial models and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.</li><li>Partner with senior leadership to establish financial objectives, KPIs, and multi-year operating plans.</li><li>Deliver timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.</li><li>Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.</li></ul> Executive Reporting &amp; Business Partnering <ul><li>Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, Board members, investors and lenders.</li><li>Lead monthly business performance reviews and provide actionable insights on financial performance, risks and opportunities.</li><li>Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and other functional teams to support business performance and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making across the organisation.</li></ul> Strategic Projects <ul><li>Support key strategic initiatives including M&amp;A, investments and corporate development projects.</li><li>Conduct financial analysis and scenario modelling to support investment decisions.</li><li>Contribute to organisation-wide strategic planning and transformation initiatives.</li></ul> Business Intelligence &amp; Finance Transformation <ul><li>Lead the Business Intelligence function and drive improvements in reporting, analytics and data accessibility.</li><li>Champion automation, AI-enabled reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across Finance.</li><li>Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve data governance, reporting capabilities and financial systems.</li><li>Drive the adoption and optimisation of SAP and integrated reporting platforms.</li></ul> Leadership <ul><li>Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners and Business Intelligence professionals.</li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.</li><li>Build organisational capability across financial analysis, business partnering and digital finance.</li></ul> Requirements: Essential Experience <ul><li>Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).</li><li>Minimum 15 years of Finance experience with at least 10 years in senior leadership positions.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning &amp; Analysis within a multinational organisation.</li><li>Strong background in manufacturing finance, including standard costing.</li><li>Experience leading regional or global finance teams.</li><li>Proven experience in executive-level business partnering and stakeholder management.</li><li>Exposure to Board reporting, investor presentations and executive financial reporting.</li><li>Experience driving strategic finance initiatives and organisational performance improvements.</li></ul> Preferred Experience <ul><li>Business Intelligence leadership experience.</li><li>Finance transformation and process improvement experience.</li><li>Exposure to M&amp;A, investments or corporate development activities.</li><li>Experience working with SAP and modern reporting platforms such as Power BI.</li><li>Experience leading data governance, reporting automation or AI-enabled finance initiatives.</li></ul> Skills &amp; Competencies <ul><li>Strong commercial and business acumen.</li><li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.</li><li>Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.</li><li>Proven leadership capabilities with experience developing high-performing teams.</li><li>Strong project management and change management skills.</li></ul>
