Role Description: <ul><li>As a Platform Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure automated processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.</li><li>You will be responsible for optimizing workflows, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the seamless and secure delivery of services and products.</li><li>This role requires a deep understanding of automation tools and ecosystems, DevOps/DevSecOps engineering practices, and a passion for streamlining processes with automation.</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate services and products delivery processes.</li><li>Implement and configure automation tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms, to support the CI/CD pipeline.</li><li>Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring minimal disruption to development activities.</li><li>Continuously monitor and optimize CI/CD processes to improve speed, reliability, and scalability.</li><li>Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and platform as code (PaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.</li><li>Implement security controls and measures within the CI/CD pipeline to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.</li><li>Collaborate with security teams to integrate security testing tools, such as static code analysis, dynamic application security testing (DAST), and container vulnerability scanning, into the CI/CD pipeline.</li><li>Implement security automation scripts and processes to enforce compliance with security policies and standards.</li><li>Conduct regular security assessments and audits of the CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and configurations to identify and remediate vulnerabilities</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or DevSecOps Engineer, Automation Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance. </li><li>Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.</li><li>Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.</li><li>Proficiency in one or more high-level Programming Languages, like Java, Go, Ruyby, or equivalent</li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation tasks.</li><li>Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.</li><li>Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and platform as code (PaC) principles and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and Ansible.</li><li>Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with Git branching strategies.</li><li>Experience with Cloud infrastructures, platforms and applications on AWS and/or Azure.</li><li>Experience with implementation of Identity &amp; Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO).</li></ul>

Responsibilities:&nbsp;Leadership and Team Management: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Build, lead and mentor a team of DevOps and cloud engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment spanning India &amp; Mexico for a global enterprise.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Set clear goals and expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback to drive individual and team growth.</li></ul> Cloud Infrastructure Strategy: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring optimal resource utilization, scalability, and security.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continually enhance the companys cloud infrastructure.</li></ul> DevOps Automation: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Build, deploy &amp; support our K8s based platforms and containerized workloads and ETL pipelines in Azure &amp; AWS clouds.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Oversee the implementation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes to accelerate application delivery.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Drive automation initiatives to increase efficiency in managing infrastructure and application lifecycle.</li></ul> Infrastructure Monitoring and Optimization: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high performance and reliability.</li></ul> Security and Compliance: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Collaborate with the security team to establish and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud infrastructure.</li></ul> Collaboration and Communication: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Work closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting technical information in a clear and understandable manner.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Proven experience in leading and managing a team of DevOps and cloud engineers.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Extensive hands on experience with operating Kubernetes based platforms in AWS, Azure or GCP in the past as an individual contributor or a k8s architect.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).</li><li class="ql-align-justify">In-depth knowledge of containerization with Docker.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance in Azure or AWS cloud environments.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Play a crucial role in contributing to the vision of proactive operations and engineering excellence in operations</li><li>Contribute hands-on in the transformation, development and establishment of DevOps engineering practices in the organization</li><li>Work in close collaboration between the global and regional DevOps units to streamline, standardize and enhance the DevOps practices and processes</li><li>Being part of the DevOps digital delivery platforms &amp; Cloud Operations CoE, this role will need to collaborate closely with units like Cybersecurity, Architecture and agile execution teams to build solutions addressing the common shared goals of the cloud platform</li><li>Contribute to the high availability and operational efficiency of the solutions by pushing continuous improvements in application/infrastructure monitoring</li><li>Hands-on contribution in critical aspects of cloud platform engineering like platform level cross region backup &amp; restore, security, infrastructure as code, monitoring infrastructure etc.,</li><li>Contribute to platform scalability and operational architecture</li><li>Provide continuous visibility of the operational efficiency to the organization through building and orchestrating automated data collection and visualization of key performance indicators&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements:&nbsp; Education &amp; Experience: <ul><li>University degree in Information technology, engineering or equivalent</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in technical operation roles in complex projects/solutions</li><li>Prior experience in working on large scale production systems in technical operations and platform engineering</li><li>Very good knowledge &amp; hands-on experience in Key foundational services in cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Azure or Google Cloud Platform</li><li>Key Services like AWS Control Tower, IAM</li><li>Infrastructure-as-code toolchain like AWS Cloud Formation/CDK/Terraform or similar</li><li>Setting up and managing modern monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Splunk etc.</li><li>Setting up &amp; managing CI/CD toolchain like Gitlab (preferred), Jenkins or similar in large projects with automated guard rails</li><li>Git based SCM tools with best software development practices well versed in various branching, versioning &amp; tagging strategies</li><li>Platform engineering aspects like platform scalability, resilience, disaster recovery, security etc.</li><li>Strong scripting skills (Python) and ability to build scalable software delivery pipelines</li><li>Nice to Have</li><li>Prior development experience in Java, JavaScript &amp; TypeScript will be a plus</li><li>Strong willingness and attitude to continuously learn and adapt</li></ul>
