Responsibilites: <ul><li>Develop and implement site-wide EHS programs aligned with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DEA requirements for controlled substances.</li><li>Lead risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and containment evaluations, particularly in areas handling high-potent and controlled substances.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison for EHS-related aspects of DEA compliance, supporting controlled substance handling protocols in collaboration with Quality, Security, and Operations.</li><li>Oversee the environmental and safety controls for controlled substances, ensuring proper ventilation, storage, access restrictions, spill response, and waste disposal procedures in compliance with DEA and EPA regulations.</li><li>Develop and maintain physical and procedural controls related to controlled substance areas (e.g., vaults, restricted labs, destruction processes) in partnership with Security and Regulatory Affairs.</li><li>Lead the investigation and root cause analysis of all incidents, near-misses, and controlled substance discrepancies, and implement corrective/preventive actions.</li><li>Ensure training and education of site personnel in EHS best practices, with a focus on potent compound safety, exposure monitoring, and controlled substance handling protocols.</li><li>Implement industrial hygiene programs, including monitoring of airborne concentrations and potential operator exposure to potent and hazardous compounds.</li><li>Establish robust programs for emergency preparedness, including chemical spills, fires, security threats, and controlled substance incidents.</li><li>Maintain all required permits, records, and documentation related to hazardous waste, emissions, safety incidents, and controlled substance EHS compliance.</li><li>Partner with Engineering, Validation, and Operations to incorporate EHS and security standards into facility, utility, and equipment design and commissioning.</li><li>Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, and environmental stewardship at all levels of the organization.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive EHS experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.</li><li>Direct experience managing EHS compliance for controlled substances (DEA Schedules II–V) and high-potency APIs strongly preferred.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DEA, NJDEP, and global EHS regulations and guidelines.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial hygiene, containment technologies, and safe handling procedures for potent compounds</li><li>Experience leading EHS activities during greenfield/startup site development and qualification is a plus.</li></ul>

Professional certifications like CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or OSHA certification are preferred.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Effective communication and leadership abilities</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with safety management systems and software</li></ul> Work Environment <ul><li>Primarily office-based with frequent visits to production floors and facilities</li><li>Occasional travel may be required to other company locations or external sites</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>EHS Operation - undertaking the role and act as Workplace Safety Health Officer /Fire Safety Manager / Permit Holder for Regulated Chemical.</li><li>EHS Compliance and Audit - Internal auditor for ISO14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Safety &amp; Health Management System, ISO 50001 Energy Management System and RBA Responsible Business Alliances.</li><li>Enforce EHS rules and regulations by developing procedures and controls in Environmental Health and Safety Management System for all to comply.</li><li>Drive &amp; implement Chemical Safety, Waste handling Management System in Company.</li><li>Plan and organize EHS awareness activities, campaigns by working closely with the WESH committee members.</li><li>Perform EHS inspections with WESH committee teams as well as carry out regular EHS related orientation/training and audits.</li><li>Maintain EHS emergency response plan and conduct the necessary EHS trainings and drills.</li><li>Implement Aspect/Impact, Hazard/Risk Assessment and Permit-To-Work</li><li>Review latest corporate requirements/Legal Regulations/Act and code of practice and assess with respective operations to determine suitability and compliance.</li><li>License holder for Flammable Material, Hazardous Substance, Explosive Pre-cursor and Fire Safety Manager for the Factory as required by Local Authorities.</li><li>Manage development and implementation of both tactical and strategic Process Safety Management (PSM).</li><li>Perform any other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Min. 2 years working experience in electronic or wafer manufacturing related environment.</li><li>Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO), Fire Safety Manager Cert, HAZMAT knowledge/experience is an added advantage</li><li>Certified ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO50001 Lead / Internal Auditor with prior auditing experience. Hands on experience with management system administration is added advantage.</li><li>Degree /Diploma in mechanical, chemical, electrical or EHS</li></ul>

Responsibilities:Evaluate, design and document vessels for potential over pressure and vacuum scenarios (new & existing) – relief device (PSV, RD, conservation vents) relief load calculation, inlet and outlet line sizing, size selection and datasheet preparation, and relief/flare load summary preparation. Design, model, document, and communicate requirements for pressure/vacuum relief devices and effluent handling.Understanding of mechanical design conditions and to utilize the process safety information in designing relief system to safeguard piping and equipment.Understanding of HAZOP, PHA report, SIL studies - provide relief system input from these reports. Design of overpressure protection for gas/vapor filled systems using Depressurization concept. Material & Energy Balance Calculation as per the process requirement to design the adequate relief systems.Work to enhance safety and protection of the environment through overall relief project development.Stay abreast of corporate and industry relief practices and standards such as API 520/521, NFPA 30, API 2000 etcRequirements:3 to 8 years of direct Relief Systems experience in process design, commissioning, start-up, or operations.Demonstrated project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programsPrefer knowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulatory codes: US Occupational Health and Safety Administration, Internal Process Safety StandardsExperience in a petrochemical plant or refinery Experience with the following software would be an advantage: SuperChems, ASPEN, HTRI, AFT ARROW, AFT Fathom.Addition Required Qualifications/Job Requirements:Master’s or bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from accredited university or college.Understand process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagram and equipment layouts, conceptual equipment layouts, process layout, utility layout and other block layouts.Understand Plant process design with equipment sizing & utility load design calculation. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and consultation skills. This position will interact with personnel in all organizations.Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute a heavy workload simultaneously within budget and schedule.Must have the ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written means, and able to adapt communication to best reach the intended audience within or outside the organization.Strong customer focus, with demonstrated ability to solve complex issues and work in partnership with peers, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.Ability to compile and analyze complex data.Knowledge in application of industry standards, recommended practices, and codes (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.)Ensure regulatory compliance of process changes- Provide and communicate clear, concise, and timely reporting of project progress and accomplishments verbally and in writing.
