The RoleThis role is responsible for managing the efficient storage, handling, and optimization of quays, yards, and landside operations to ensure seamless cargo flow. Responsible for leading port and yard activities, coordinating with customs, quarantine authorities, stevedores, and shipping lines to facilitate smooth and timely cargo transitions. Additionally, they supervise vessel planning, optimize operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall port performance. Preferably a tertiary qualification in logistics, maritime and port, or process/industrial engineering or a marine qualification&nbsp;EXPERIENCE&nbsp;&nbsp;• Minimum of 8-10 years relevant work experience, in a Ports &amp; terminals environment.&nbsp;• Significant experience in port management, with a proven track record management role overseeing Port &amp; Terminal Operations.&nbsp;• Demonstrated ability to manage and implement changes that elevate operational standards, particularly in challenging environments.&nbsp;• Experience working in diverse and developing countries.&nbsp;• Proven ability to effectively communicate and build trust in multilingual environments, gaining stakeholder buy-in.&nbsp;• Solid experience in successfully managing relationships with various stakeholders, both internal and external.&nbsp;• Experience in environments involving third-party company collaboration.&nbsp;• Experience on vessel/yard planning and yard strategy and preference knowledge of TOS applications such as Navis, Zodiac, etc.&nbsp;• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
