Sr. Business Development Manager (Moden Trade)

Responsibilities: Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance: <ul><li>Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP).</li><li>Manage period-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations.</li><li>Support external and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit points.</li></ul> Cost Accounting &amp; Inventory Management: <ul><li>Monitor and manage inventory valuation, batch costing, and cost of goods sold (COGS).</li><li>Conduct standard vs actual cost variance analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams for real-time cost tracking.</li></ul> Taxation &amp; Regulatory Compliance: <ul><li>Handle GST, TDS, and income tax compliances including returns, reconciliations, and assessments.</li><li>Assist in regulatory compliance relevant to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., NPPA, CDSCO).</li><li>Maintain records for transfer pricing and other compliance reports (e.g., Form 3CD).</li></ul> Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable: <ul><li>Oversee vendor payments, import transactions, and ensure proper accounting treatment.</li><li>Monitor receivables, perform aging analysis, and coordinate with sales teams for collections.</li><li>Conduct periodic reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts. 5. Budgeting, MIS &amp; Financial Planning</li><li>Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.</li><li>Provide financial analysis and reports to management (sales trends, cost analysis, profitability reports).</li><li>Develop and automate MIS for enhanced decision-making.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting/finance roles; at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role.</li><li>Experience in pharma or manufacturing industry is highly preferred. •	Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and cost accounting.</li><li>Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools. •	Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Nice to Have:</li><li>Experience in handling audits for pharmaceutical R&amp;D or DSIR-registered entities.</li><li>Knowledge of pharma-specific compliance (NPPA reporting, drug pricing, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to internal controls, SOX compliance, or process improvement initiatives.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:&nbsp; Strategic Growth &amp; Market Expansion <ul><li>Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy for domestic and international markets.</li><li>Export Clients (especially for food ingredients and value-added products).</li><li>Identify new market opportunities in food ingredients, fruit pulp and IQF industries and&nbsp;value -added products.</li><li>Conduct market research to analyse consumer trends, competitor activities, pricing insights, and demand patterns.</li></ul> Revenue &amp; Sales Leadership <ul><li>Drive annual sales targets and growth plans for all food processing verticals.</li><li>Build high-performing sales, distribution, and channel teams.</li><li>Evaluate and optimize sales routes, distribution networks, and dealer/channel profitability.</li></ul> Key Account Management <ul><li>Identify and onboard strategic clients, including:</li><li>Modern trade</li><li>Institutional buyers</li><li>Bulk buyers</li><li>Export clients&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Manage long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and trade partners.</li></ul> Brand Development &amp; Marketing Collaboration <ul><li>Work with the marketing team to plan brand positioning, pricing strategies, product visibility, and promotional activities.</li><li>Explore partnerships with farmers, aggregators, food processing clusters and sourcing vendors.</li><li>Identify and negotiate tie-ups with co-packers, distributors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers.</li></ul> &nbsp;Business Analysis &amp; Reporting <ul><li>Monitor sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and business analytics.</li><li>Provide monthly reports on business performance, competition mapping and growth projections.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>MBA in Marketing/Sales, Food Technology, or related discipline preferred.</li><li>10+ years of experience in Food ingredients/FMCG/food processing/agribusiness.</li><li>Strong network across distributors, institutional buyers, and supply chain partners.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.</li></ul>

The Role: Manage and drive the Clearing and Forwarding businesses in the West Africa region, to ensure sustainable business growth and performance. The applicant will need to initiate the Freight Forwarding network and footprint expansion strategy across the West Africa Region, to implement Ocean &amp; Air product procurement strategies in key West Africa Region Countries, to implement key Trade Lane strategies, ensuring strategic compliance across the Western African network, and mitigating risk associated to contract liability with network offices/partners. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Supervise logistics staffs to manage their daily operation for the team to achieve a predefined&nbsp;target.</li><li>Manage 3PL’s to handle any operation activities in DC team to meet customer’s requirement and ensure to achieve highest customer’s satisfactory (ECE : Extraordinary Customer Experience)</li><li>Liaise with 3PL’s to monitor DC Workload levels and take necessary actions to ensure the minimum overtime is required but still meet prescribed productivities and service goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with 3PL’s to deploy the continuous improvement process and Kaizen activities in DC operation using company OA requirement as a benchmarking.</li><li>Develop, maintain and review physical procedures and standard work for all functional areas of DC to ensure they are up-to-date and match with the actual operation.</li><li>Liaise with Global Trade Services and appointed customs broker to ensure all customs related matters are executed per local customs law/regulation.</li><li>Close cooperation with BU ITCOs for HS Code Classification.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with related parties including company customs broker, DC Operation (3PL’s) and customers/customer’s broker to ensure that customs reports per Malaysia bonded regulation has been prepared and submitted on-time with 100% accuracy.</li><li>Manage carriers/forwarders (all modes; including air, ocean, truck and small package) to deliver shipments to DC/customers on-time. Monitor and be able to scrutinize and on freight spending especially those irregular high spending.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage DC spending to achieve CPC target.</li><li>Being responsible to provide an update to Corporate&nbsp;for any regular cost review.</li><li>Participate in any new system enhancements; e.g. S/4 Hana Implementation, etc. that is related to&nbsp;DC.</li><li>Support any Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Implementation and other requests from Bus/Corporate</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in any fields with 8-10 years logistics working experience.</li><li>Hands-on experience on DC operation and process improvement. Experience managing 3PL’s&nbsp;would be an advantage.</li><li>SAP Experience on WM is preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of import/export customs procedures and requirements including licensing,&nbsp;FTA and classification requirements. Experience on customs bonded and LMW is desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated personal leadership of DC teams, demonstrating organizational and management&nbsp;skills, and achieving quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration&nbsp;(internal and 3PL’s team)</li><li>Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach&nbsp;logical conclusions and decisions; results oriented; relies on fact-based logic for decision-making</li><li>Ability to communicate with senior management through well formulated presentations and&nbsp;discussions</li><li>Business acumen, a detailed understanding of business processes and the ability to&nbsp;institute/influence change management as needed.</li><li>Proven computer skills in Microsoft suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word and etc.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Sales and Marketing Growth Plans – Crafted plans to explode total business growth</li><li>Portfolio Management – Working on multi-tier, multi-segment categories to accelerate growth across different consumer groups.</li><li>Distributor Management – Working with lot of distributors across the markets from business planning to marketing and sales strategies to in-store, below-the-line and above-the-line executions. Trained distributors on sell-out analysis to uncover growth gaps and opportunities.</li><li>Consumer-centric Category-Country Strategy – Designed and introduced the consumer insight-based growth strategy by category-country combination to unlock category and market growth, which was previously non-existent in the business.</li><li>Regional Campaign Design and Execution –Working on ideation, regional design and local adaptation and execution of campaigns that build on each category strategy.</li><li>Supply Chain Management – Initiated the full supply chain tracking system for Markets from ordering to shipping to systematize issue escalation and resolution (late ordering, delays, shelf-life issues, customer complaints) more actionable.</li><li>Forecasting and Demand Planning – Leads the demand planning process with the distributors starting with sell-out analysis and campaign planning to sell-in forecasting and shipment planning.
