Job Description 
Technology Services (TS) is responsible for delivering all enterprise infrastructure, applications and related end user technology services across all Brookfield business groups, comprised of approximately 6,500 users. The Deskside Technician is the face of Technology Services, providing first-line support to end users. 
The Technical Support Specialist will report to the Team lead, Deskside.  In addition to incident logging, resolution, and ownership, the Deskside Technician will collaborate with team members and other Technology Services teams to maintain and improve the end user experience of all Brookfield users. 
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following attributes.

Responsibilities:
•	Provides exceptional deskside and remote support to Brookfield users.
•	Owns and follows up on IT support requests and problem tickets until user confirms resolution. 
•	Provides installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting support of computer hardware, software, audio/visual, networks, printers, and computer peripherals.
•	Provides technical training to end users. 
•	Ensures past incidents and resolutions are documented appropriately according to knowledge management standards. 
•	Positively represents Brookfield Technology Services with professionalism in all interactions. 
•	Proactively follows up on IT service requests/IT problem tickets until customer confirms resolution.
•	Collaborates with other team members to provide efficient, full-service support. 
•	Participates in testing new desktop technologies and software. 
•	Technician must maintain professionalism, good attitude and appropriate behavior with all users and vendors.
•	Technician will provide customer technical education, and support high level technical problems.
•	Assists, encourages, and serves as a backup to other team members.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of the following:
•	ITIL Methodology
•	Proficient with the following technologies: 
o	Windows 10 & 11, 
o	Microsoft Office (O365)
o	Internet Browsers, 
o	Local Account Management, 
o	Installs and removals, Registry, Command line, Service management systems and System Management Tools,
o	MFA (Microsoft Authentication)
o	VPNs
•	Proficient with the following hardware:
o	Desktop / Laptop
o	iPad/iPhone, 
o	Android Phones/Devices 
o	Printers
o	Cisco Video Conferencing equipment, 
o	Teams phones
•	Knowledge of wide area networks (SDWAN), TCP/IP, and Server OS is desired.
Experience
•	5+ years of related experience
•	Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business computing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
•	Preferred experience with financial services, with front office support a plus
•	Experience in a related role requiring, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting, and working independently to successfully install, configure, maintain, and support Windows and/or Mac desktop operating systems and software.
•	Strong and effective customer relationship management skills and process/practice experience
•	Experience working with third-party service provider service delivery execution and business governance.
•	Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system preferred, but not required.
•	Understands the importance and is vigilant with Cybersecurity matters.

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a forward-thinking EUC strategy aligned with the overall IT and business objectives.</li><li>Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance the end-user experience and drive innovation.</li><li>Service Delivery and Management: Oversee the delivery and management of all end-user computing services, including desktop support, laptop management, mobile device management (MDM), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), software deployment, and collaboration tools.</li><li>Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing EUC team. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.</li><li>Manage team resources, budgets, and performance.</li><li>End-User Experience: Champion the end-user experience, ensuring that services are user-friendly, reliable, and meet the needs of the business.</li><li>Implement mechanisms for gathering user feedback and continuously improving services.</li><li>Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of all end-user devices and systems, adhering to company policies and industry best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce security measures.</li><li>Asset Management: Oversee the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of Client’s end-user hardware and software assets.</li><li>Ensure accurate inventory management and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Vendor Management: Manage relationships with relevant technology vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and value for money is achieved.</li><li>Evaluate and select new vendors as needed.</li><li>Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with other IT departments (e.g., Infrastructure, Security, Applications) and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of EUC services.</li><li>Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on EUC-related matters.</li><li>Problem Management and Resolution: Oversee the resolution of complex end-user issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.</li><li>Implement proactive measures to prevent recurring problems.</li><li>Budget Management: Develop and manage the EUC budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and investments.</li><li>Project Management: Oversee the execution of key Technology projects from initiation to successful completion, defining project scope and objectives, develop project plans and ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery while maintaining exceptional quality.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 10 years in a leadership role managing end-user computing services.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of end-user hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), mobile platforms (iOS, Android), desktop virtualization technologies (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Windows365), collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365) and Video Conferencing technologies (Crestron, Microsoft Teams Room).</li><li>Experience with modern device management tools and methodologies (e.g., Intune, Jamf).</li><li>Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.</li><li>Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Analyze DEX tool data to identify trends, predict issues, and propose proactive interventions to enhance employee digital experience.</li><li>Develop, test, and maintain scripts and tools using PowerShell and Python to automate repetitive tasks and improve system performance.</li><li>Work with data warehouses like Redshift and analytics platforms such as Databricks. Use SQL or another programming language to work with databases and create dashboards to extract insights and develop actionable recommendations.</li><li>Develop dashboards and reporting tools using SysTrack and Microsoft Power BI to provide visibility into key performance metrics.</li><li>Collaborate with IT Service Desk and Desktop Support Teams to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Design and implement innovative ideas to enhance customer service and reduce the mean time to resolution (MTTR).</li><li>Act as a consultant to various teams, providing technical expertise in the use of DEX tools and scripting languages.</li><li>Lead initiatives to integrate new technologies or methodologies that improve the IT environment and employee satisfaction.</li><li>Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring issues and propose permanent solutions.</li><li>Engage with vendor support resources to resolve complex technical challenges and evaluate new technologies.</li><li>Work with APIs to integrate and enhance system capabilities, ensuring seamless interaction between tools and platforms.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Proficiency in DEX tools like SysTrack, Nexthink, or similar platforms.</li><li>Strong coding skills in PowerShell and Python.</li><li>Hands-on experience with data analytics platforms, such as Databricks, and data warehouses like Redshift. Proficiency in SQL as a programming language for working with databases and creating dashboards.</li><li>Expertise in Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI for data visualization and automation.</li><li>Experience in working with APIs for system integration and enhancements.</li><li>Deep understanding of IT environments, including endpoint devices, software, and cloud-based tools.</li><li>Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve digital employee experience.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, with experience conducting RCA and developing innovative solutions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to identify and act on trends and opportunities in emerging technologies.</li><li>Knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and their practical application.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Assist in solutioning and bidding for new projects.</li><li>Engage client stake holders and business users.</li><li>Represent iCompaz in technology meetings.</li><li>Project manage EUC and cross functional projects.</li><li>Review project documentation.</li><li>Engage project, client and vendor resources to deliver projects.</li><li>Escalation point for troubleshooting for EUC technology.</li><li>Provide connection with various iCompaz internal teams and Offshore our client teams.</li><li>Manage technology partners and service providers for iCompaz and Client.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Degree in IT.</li><li>Minimum 6 years working experience in international companies.</li><li>Strong track record of managing EUC environment and executing projects.</li><li>Certification in Project Management, ITIL, Microsoft.Microsoft 365</li><li>Experience in MacOS is a strong plus.</li></ul>
