3D Geological Modeler

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Ready to undertake complex assignments independently with minimal direction from supervisor.
• Construct 3D geological static models.
• Collaborate with all stockholders to insure the project is on track the deliverables are accurate and reliable.
• Conduct innovative research in geological modelling.
• Maintain key relationships with industry and academic institutions in order to update technical skills in his specialty area.
• Represent the company on appropriate company-sponsored consortia.
• Provide training to junior staff as well as to other specialists, both on one-to-one and occasionally.
• Provide mentoring and technical assistance to young professionals.
• To take critical decisions and solve problems.
• Works in multi-discipline teams.

Requirements:

• You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in geology and have Fifteen years of experience in 3D reservoir geological modelling. 
• Previous experience in reservoir geology, drilling operations, field development, sedimentology/stratigraphy or structural geology is a plus.
