Backend Engineer

As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design and operation of our cloud-based, API-driven platform, which serves as the backbone for all our software products deployed worldwide. Youll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to analyze needs and create scalable and extendable architecture using cloud-native PaaS services, open source components, and mostly Java implementation.

To be successful in this role, you should have 3+ years of experience in developing Java-based systems, strong knowledge of RESTful services, and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka. A background in working with full-stack product-centered teams and a masters degree or relevant skill set is preferred.

In this role, you will also participate in team activities such as OKRs, sprint planning, demos, and retros and take an active part in team improvements in process, tools, technology, and communication. You should be a quick learner, energetic problem solver, and enthusiastic about creating and improving ways of working. Excellent English language skills are mandatory.
