Deputy Genral Manager / Manager - Innovation

Our client is an integral part of the growth of Flexible packaging industry in South Asia. They create customized and innovative flexible packaging solutions - Milk Film Pouch, Easy Peel Lid Film, Laminates, Shrink and Stretch LD Film and Labels (Shrink and Wrap Around Labels) - across industries ranging from Dairy, Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Personal & Home care, Health & Beauty and more.

Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategising:

• Develop the Right Strategy for Incremental Innovation
• Define and establish a Process/Road map for Innovation cell

Policy and Process Design, Implementation and Review:

• Idea Generation
• Work with Manufacturing for trials and commercialisation
• Laise with Customers for trials and commercialisation at Customer end
• Deploy Success with more and more Customers to expand the business

Coordination, Interface, Imparting Training to Internal and External entities:

• Work with Manufacturing/Sales/Customers/Suppliers for successful Project implementation Consistently
• Create awareness about quality standards through regular communication and training within the plant

Management of performance:

• Develop Project charter for each Key Projects and monitor Progress
• Infrastructure and Technology Investment and Management
• Work with Manufacturing to estabilish a Innovation Lab

Requirements:

• Creative thinking mind and Passionate to generate/bring new Ideas
• Thorough understanding/knowledge of Products and Markets/Customer insights with Flexible Packaging Industry
• Knowledge of Innovation Process and relevant Past experience in success ful implementation
• Proven ability to build, sustain, and influence relationships, at all levels of an organization/Customers/Suppliers
• Strong conceptual, planning, conflict management and decision-making skills
• Deep data analysis, and Solution Provider
• Always an initiator
