Draftsman

They also employ the industry’s latest technologies and processes to provide the entire suite of solutions to their customers as they seek to improve the efficiency of their asset ownership and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to Engineering Manager/Design Engineer.
• Preparation & control of Drawing & other design related documents.
• To prepare drawings on solid Edge software.
• Designing of Oilfield equipment’s.
• Use Solid edge to standard the part use DDM to store drawing.
• Read & understand and specification of pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic actuator.
• Work directly with engineering staff, to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions.
• To assign Part numbers, drawing numbers in line with standard procedures.
• Coordination with design engineer for work completion.
• Develop improved designs in consultation with the engineering manager.
• To prepare and review drawings and BOM.
• Good command over 3D/2D design software including modeling, assembly and drafting.

Requirements:

• ITI in Draughtsman trade / Diploma in engineering. Experience required
• Minimum 1-3 Year of experience as a draughtsman in any manufacturing industry. 
• Knowledge on API Q1 & ISO 9001 requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, technical specification and outside drawing.
• Knowledge on GD&T.
