Our Client operates in the Packaged Foods Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in the United States. It has its branches spread to more than 180 countries. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. Their core business is manufacturing and selling a broad range of convenience foods. It also is a well passed down legacy business, making a mark through history.

Job description

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain primary ownership of relationship with distributors, ecommerce enablers and e-retailers to drive forward digital commerce business
  • Help develop and align internally the business plan for the year, covering both sales objectives and the investments required to deliver those.
  • JBP/terms sell in with retailers, and conduct annual / quarterly JBP reviews; define monthly sell-in volumes, A&P spending, incentives, commitments from e-retailer
  • Establish and align the best approach to retailer marketing assets, the participation criteria for marketing events, agreeing with retailers on the plan, and executing the commercial agreement
  • Conduct digital commerce performance reviews with distributors and e-enablers, agreeing on actions to mitigate sales gaps or further increase sales performance, mitigate operational challenges and optimize the business
  • Customer support: serve as first point of contact for e-retailers. Handle inquiries, resolving any issues through the support of internal teams to manage execution of any agreed solutions
  • Sign-off sales forecasts for production for assigned customers on a monthly basis
  • Reporting to the Head of Digital Commerce SEA 
  • Will be responsible for growing the digital business by managing relationships with distributors, e-commerce enablers, and key accounts.

 

Requirements:


  • At least 5 years of sales experience
  • Preferably 2+ years as Key account manager with e-commerce retailers/marketplaces in the target market(s)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Language proficiency in English and local language – both written and oral
  • Requires a strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that will increase sales.
