Quality Director

Our client operates in the Telecoms Equipment Semiconductors Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in the United States. It has branches spread to more than 30 countries, providing employment to more than 45,000 people all over the world. They fall in the Fortune 500 Companies. Their core business is designing and manufacturing semiconductors. They believe in driving digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Set direction, strategies and manage the Supplier Quality Management, Quality Engineering, Failure Analysis QA, Customer Quality and Quality Management System departments.
• Partner with Operations to establish, execute and maintain Quality strategies, Objectives and Processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to functional groups to improve processes and drive continuous improvement and advise other departments on matters of compliances.
• Guide staff towards achievement of targets in term of personal and career development for individual as well as RF360 benefits.
• Devise methods and strategies for Supplier Quality Management to support the operations effectively in controlling the quality performance of our material suppliers.
• Set yearly target to develop material suppliers in meeting our quality objectives.
• Device methods and quantifiable measurement in ensuring only good quality products are allowed to move and ship to customers.
• Engage and be responsible actively with SQM, in-process quality Control production, and NPDI and TMS teams in delivering quality product to customer.
• Together with production quality controller, NPDI, TMS and be responsible in timely disposition of questionable products and decision on quality releases to production or shipment to customers.
• Organization of disposition including quarantine, release, stop ship or scrap decision on a timely manner to meet shipment demand. 
• Establish quality and reliability standard and test methods to ensure only good and reliable parts are shipped to customers.
• Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are in place for customer compliant received. 
• Manage and audit all activities to ensure compliance with internal, agreed customer’s specific requirements, corporate policies and ISO/IATF16949.
• Develop training methods for ensure awareness of requirements are understood and practice in the factory.
• Act as Key account holder for Company’s social corporate responsibilities for the plant

Requirements:

• Master/Bachelor Degree in Science, electrical or mechanical engineering
• At least 10 years of Quality/ Supplier Quality in manufacturing environment with min. 5 years of management experience and working in ISO regulated environment.
