Job description
Job Summary:
- As part of company, you will lead and execute the technical strategies and initiatives defined with the regional sales teams.
- Starting from lead nurturing to post-sales support, the Solution Consultant is a technical partner of the solution sales and supports regional organic growth by converting customers’ ideas and visions into customized solutions enabling guaranteed business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Drive company's funnel growth and success rate through developing and delivering outcome-based solutions to customers managed by the sales teams.
- Provide technical leadership in solutions that utilize the capability of all company's brands, ecosystem partners and 3rd party products.
- Provide technical leadership in the response to all Request for Quotation (RFQ), and the preparation of technical proposals.
- Collaborate with the solution support team in the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs), Factory Acceptance Test (FATs), and network audits.
- Provide technical/market insights to internal teams to enable project wins.
- Design and support technology campaigns such as webinars, roadshows, trade fairs, etc.
- Represent customers’ voice in Business Unit strategy and new product introduction processes.
Requirements:
- Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Telecommunication, Electronics), Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Background – At least 5 years’ experience in solution creation in an Industrial/Enterprise environment.
- Competencies -Detailed working experience in designing Layer 2, Layer 3, Multiprotocol Label Switching - Transport Profile (MPLS-TP) and Internet Protocol/Multiprotocol Label Switching networks (IP/MPLS) with understanding on unicast, multicast, IP addresses/subnets, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) and routing protocols.
- Good working knowledge of MPLS, TCP/IP, routing switching, network engineering, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge on legacy protocols such as RS232, E1 (European variant), Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and voice is preferred.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key industry technologies and market trends.
- Good understanding on industrial applications – oil & gas, power utility, mass transit, and telecommunication.
- Computer literacy essential – including experience of using Customer Relationship Management system tools
- Business fluent in English is essential.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as required.
