Technical Service Manager

Our client is an integral part of the growth of Flexible packaging industry in South Asia. They create customized and innovative flexible packaging solutions - Milk Film Pouch, Easy Peel Lid Film, Laminates, Shrink and Stretch LD Film and Labels (Shrink and Wrap Around Labels) - across industries ranging from Dairy, Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Personal & Home care, Health & Beauty and more.

Role:

• Investigate customer complaints & issues using techniques such as Why-Why analysis to get to the root cause of the issues.
• Strengthen to technical service team expertise to demonstrate value to the customer and competitor differentiation.
• Develop application and end use expertise.
• Market Intelligence on Technical trends observed at our accounts: Be the voice of customer (technical team)

Responsibilities:

• Provide competent and efficient technical service to customers of Shrink Sleeve and Wrap around Label.
• Conduct the trial of new Product at Customer end and Make a proper report of trail validation, Share the same trial validation report to Plant QA.
• Clear co-ordination with Plant team, Sales and mkt team about New Product Development/customer complaint update and closing of the complaint.
• Understand the technical requirements of existing customers and ensure their needs are being met.
• Support the Sales and mkt teams in driving new business development into commercial success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master degree required in Printing / Polymer science / CIPET.
• Experience in flexible film Manufacturing (PVC, BOPP& PET) and Converting
• Process as well as test method knowledge of Film Manufacturing and Converting
• Min 5 years experience of Technical Service of flexible Printing and Packaging, more preferable from shrink sleeve and WAL industries.
• Track record of proven success
• Problem solving skill, analytical skill and ability to make decision quickly.
• Strong organizational, and presentation skills
• Strong Communication skill both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel as when as required.
