ABOUT: We are building a world class Global Trade Services (GTS) organization and the GTS - Automotive Business Unit senior analyst (based in Hungary) plays a critical role in supporting trade operations and compliance within the Business Unit (BU). The GTS AUT BU senior analyst serves as a trusted advisor and key team member within TE’s Operational Compliance team for the BU. The purpose of this role is to facilitate TE’s compliance, at the BU level, with import and export regulations globally to enhance global trade compliance, reduce risk, increase responsiveness to issues and opportunities, and support effective operational aspects of international trade. This role reports into the Senior Manager GTS Automotive EMEAI and is a key member of the Global Trade Services (GTS) team. Responsibilities: Establish strategic direction and drive the team to follow in an effective and simple framework for respective BU and regionsDefine Training Strategy per Brand in Travel Retail Asia perimeter, adapt modules per countries based on specific needs in connection with commercial teamMonitor feedback, comprehend, and articulate impact of implemented training activities to the businessElevate and transform education approach to cater to learners’ behaviour to maximize learning outcome while accelerating O+O learning landscapeAlign internally (GM, Marketing and Commercial) and work closely with DMI for TR relevant training materials and service excellence activations (e.g. Service Menu) to cater elevated business needs in TR APACLead companies Fragrance Captaincy education projects with cross-divisions retaileducation teams to drive overall fragrance business and market shareFoster and lead Regional Fragrance Taskforce to better understand the market and consumer preferences and transform the learnings into Fragrance development plans to maximize business opportunities across APAC and Generic Fragrance Areas, while enabling peer-learning opportunities On board, manage and upskill Education Managers on relevant skills and knowledge based on evolving business needsIdentify opportunities regarding business development, as a result, translate insights into R&E strategyDevelop talent capability through comprehensive team composition, delegation of tasks and authorities in the team, performance management, and development, succession planning, and talent diversityEnsure Retail Excellence at the POS, define specific Retail and Education actionplans to consumers based on Global Shopper approach with Marketing / Commercial / Global shopper teams to guarantee brand image at the POS in connection with relevant departments (e.g. Marketing, Commercial ,Merchandising)Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial for annual event and on-counter activation plans and counter tool development to ensure the best in-classconsumer journey and increase brand awarenessManage conflicts and negotiations professionally with multi perspective considerationsDefine specific actions plans and modules and implement in the POS inconnection with Commercial teamBalance budget across APAC with P&L impact in view of business needsManage Budget of Retail and Education per brand in their training costs (trips, gifts, uniforms…) and training toolsRecruit, develop and manage team. Act as a trusted advisor to GM, to demonstrate R&E expertise/authority to achieve strategic business prioritiesRequirements: Bachelor’s degree or above preferable in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent professional certificationMinimum 8 years’ experience as Retail Manager or Education Manager in cosmetics and retail environmentStrong communication, influencing and negotiation skills is a mustStrong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCapacity to motivate, coach and train staff, as well as to identify opportunities and propose action plansDemonstrated leadership capacity and people development track recordProven track record of developing processes and standards that enable operational efficiencyStrong sense of aesthetic sensibility and creativity, preferably having an in-depth product and brand knowledgeHigh sense of luxury and service excellence is highly preferredGood understanding of FMCG or beauty industry
