Role Description: <ul><li>A rare and unique role as a tax writer to produce n clients market-leading ATT and CTA Exam Learning Materials has arisen in the Content team.</li><li>The role is to maintain and update a large portfolio of learning materials (including study manuals, question banks and mock exams) focusing particularly on Personal Income Tax, CGT, IHT, Trusts &amp; Estates and Business Income Tax. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team of tax specialists</li></ul> Responsibilities:&nbsp; <ul><li>Writing and updating Exam Learning Materials based on new legislation and case law</li><li>Technical checks of Exam Learning Materials updated by other team members</li><li>Input into the future development of Exam Learning Materials</li><li>Answering student queries via email</li><li>Our Exam Learning Materials include study manuals, initial question banks, practice and mock exams, revision question banks (mainly consisting of past paper questions) for the ATT and CTA exams.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Whilst this role would suit someone with previous experience in tax tutoring, we welcome applications from a wide variety of backgrounds.</li><li>You could be a recently qualified tax adviser with a few years post-qualification work experience and a passion for writing or you could be an experienced tax writer, manager, or senior manager.</li></ul> However, as a minimum we would expect: <ul><li>CTA qualified or equivalent</li><li>Good technical knowledge of Personal Income Tax, CGT, and Business Income Tax (OMB)</li><li>Knowledge of IHT and Trusts would also be an advantage though not essential</li><li>Strong English writing skills with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Ability to communicate complex tax concepts in an understandable way</li><li>We work in an XML-based content management system and while experience of that would be helpful, it is not a requirement and training can be given</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Supervise logistics staffs to manage their daily operation for the team to achieve a predefined&nbsp;target.</li><li>Manage 3PL’s to handle any operation activities in DC team to meet customer’s requirement and ensure to achieve highest customer’s satisfactory (ECE : Extraordinary Customer Experience)</li><li>Liaise with 3PL’s to monitor DC Workload levels and take necessary actions to ensure the minimum overtime is required but still meet prescribed productivities and service goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with 3PL’s to deploy the continuous improvement process and Kaizen activities in DC operation using company OA requirement as a benchmarking.</li><li>Develop, maintain and review physical procedures and standard work for all functional areas of DC to ensure they are up-to-date and match with the actual operation.</li><li>Liaise with Global Trade Services and appointed customs broker to ensure all customs related matters are executed per local customs law/regulation.</li><li>Close cooperation with BU ITCOs for HS Code Classification.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with related parties including company customs broker, DC Operation (3PL’s) and customers/customer’s broker to ensure that customs reports per Malaysia bonded regulation has been prepared and submitted on-time with 100% accuracy.</li><li>Manage carriers/forwarders (all modes; including air, ocean, truck and small package) to deliver shipments to DC/customers on-time. Monitor and be able to scrutinize and on freight spending especially those irregular high spending.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage DC spending to achieve CPC target.</li><li>Being responsible to provide an update to Corporate&nbsp;for any regular cost review.</li><li>Participate in any new system enhancements; e.g. S/4 Hana Implementation, etc. that is related to&nbsp;DC.</li><li>Support any Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Implementation and other requests from Bus/Corporate</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in any fields with 8-10 years logistics working experience.</li><li>Hands-on experience on DC operation and process improvement. Experience managing 3PL’s&nbsp;would be an advantage.</li><li>SAP Experience on WM is preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of import/export customs procedures and requirements including licensing,&nbsp;FTA and classification requirements. Experience on customs bonded and LMW is desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated personal leadership of DC teams, demonstrating organizational and management&nbsp;skills, and achieving quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration&nbsp;(internal and 3PL’s team)</li><li>Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach&nbsp;logical conclusions and decisions; results oriented; relies on fact-based logic for decision-making</li><li>Ability to communicate with senior management through well formulated presentations and&nbsp;discussions</li><li>Business acumen, a detailed understanding of business processes and the ability to&nbsp;institute/influence change management as needed.</li><li>Proven computer skills in Microsoft suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word and etc.</li></ul>

DQIP Workmanship Control Plan: <ul><li>Identify the key process basing on quality control and assure process quality.</li><li>Prepare DQIP, workmanship and Control Plan, and quality control document according to procedure.</li></ul> Setup &amp; FAAR: <ul><li>Basing on product, Process and procedure, review and approve Setup and FAAR report.</li></ul> MSA (GRR), gage: <ul><li>Do assessment on product and measurement tool, prepare MSA (GRR) report. </li><li>Calibrate the inspection equipment as gage and process inspection machine to assure the efficiency.</li></ul> PFMEA: <ul><li>Assure the process risk control basing on efficient PFMEA.</li></ul> NCR &amp; QA instruction: <ul><li>NCR&amp; QA instruction prepare and confirmation, assure the good control on non-confirming parts.</li></ul> Customer Quality: <ul><li>Fast response for customer complaints to drive customer satisfaction</li><li>Drive internal improvement and expansion based on customer complaints</li><li>8D report prepare and TECHS system handling.</li></ul> Process Improvement: <ul><li>In association with engineering department and production department to identify and analyze problems of production process, find out the root cause of failures.</li><li>Do process capability analysis and defect statistic analysis, to increasing the product &amp; process quality</li><li>NPI product and process study to assure the NPI goes well on quality control.</li><li>Engage process improvement, confirm implementing and tracking effects and results.</li></ul> Training: <ul><li>Providing practical training to QC and operators</li><li>Quality Improvement Summary and Sharing</li></ul> Requirements: Education, Technical Qualification &amp; Experience: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in technical or related major.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 1 year working experience in Quality management， connector working experience preferred.</li><li>English can be working language</li><li>SA、SPC、FACA, Familiar with quality management tools, such as MSA, SPC, FACA etc</li><li>Personal Attributes &amp; Competencies</li><li>Integrity; Accountability; Communication; Outgoing.</li><li>Good capability of logical thinking, self-study and independent problem solving</li></ul>
