Responsibilities: <ul><li>Work with cross functional teams to transform VOC into internal specifications and design features, documented properly as Product Requirements Document.</li><li>Design and develop new products for renewable applications using metallic and polymeric material to meet customer requirements</li><li>Assess technical risk and compliance of project</li><li>Prototype sample development for feasibility studies</li><li>Product Data management of engineering bill of materials</li><li>Executing on cost optimization/reduction (VA/VE) opportunities for the business</li><li>Engineering communication with global team and localize global product teams in China</li><li>Preparing design verification test plans, Design C Process FMEAs, FEAs</li><li>Engineering sample preparation for design and process verification tests</li><li>Executing test plan within the lab, ensuring successful product testing and verification results</li><li>Perform failure mode analyses and improvements to optimize product</li><li>Recording results of design reviews, design decision meetings, and writing technical summaries</li><li>Assisting with product compliance and approvals for all new products and platforms</li><li>Work with FAI approvals, Process Capability Study, judging manufacturing deviations and make decisions on deviation acceptance</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Must have a minimum of an Bachelors degree in a discipline of Engineering</li><li>More than 5 years design experience on connector, plug or terminal. Solar or battery energy storage relevant or power / utility design experience is plus,not must</li><li>Ability to develop connectors to meet critical global standards, such as ANSI, UL, IEEE, and IEC</li><li>Component material selection to optimize strength, electrical insulation, stability, and longevity, while meeting the product and standard requirements</li><li>Basic knowledge of product development processes in a stage-gate approach</li><li>A basic understanding of manufacturing processes, such as molding, stamping, plating, and assembly processes</li><li>Possesses high degree of initiative, technical competence, engineering process knowledge and strong communication skills</li><li>Fluent communication with own team, customers, internal business leaders and technology leaders in English (CET-4 or above)</li><li>LDFSS or DMAIC 6-sigma black or green belt an advantage</li><li>Familiarity of engineering software: Creo or Pro/E</li><li>Mastery of office software, such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:•	Has strong impact in Advanced Manufacturing Technology Roadmap driven development projects.•	Drives for excellence in existing Stamping technologies and methods.•	Strives to implement optimized or new manufacturing technologies to provide improved processes and tolerance control.•	Act as a liaison between the Advance Manufacturing Process team and the manufacturing sites teams to collaborate with Product Development in the optimization of part and product designs for manufacturability, providing stamping process expert knowledge and general knowledge of stamping processes to realize product samples and prototypes.•	Provides stamping process expert knowledge and general knowledge and project management to liaise the Advance Manufacturing Process team and the manufacturing sites teams, deploying optimized or new stamping processes to realize advanced manufacturing technology development projects.•	Acts as the binding element between product development and advanced manufacturing &amp; process engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface.•	Designs, develops, and qualifies stamping processes in compliance with company EH&amp;S, quality and production standards, as well as recognized best in class and industry standards.•	Documents all related processes in applicable company systems.•	Supports supply chain to verify related suppliers’ compliance and capability.•	Initiates and implements stamping related programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time.•	Maintains and adheres to all appropriate specifications, regulatory and customer requirements.•	Applies stamping process expertise to resolve significant / unique / complex issues, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.•	Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment, performing work without appreciable direction.•	Drives results primarily through collaboration and influence, not through direct reporting relationships.•	Provides training and mentorship to other professional employees.•	Provides measurable input to the objectives and goals of the department in support of the function and business unit strategies. Requirements:•	Minimum 8 years of related experience.•	Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical Engineering or related) required, Master’s preferred.•	Demonstrates stamping process expertise (process optimization, capability, troubleshooting)•	Tight tolerance electrical connector experience is a plus!•	Working knowledge with quality tools (FMEA, Six Sigma, DOE, 8D/Continuous Improvement), is a plus!•	Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).•	Broad knowledge of stamping, plating, and assembly processes for connectors and sockets is desired.•	Practical application of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PPT, Project, &amp; Outlook).&nbsp;•	Broad project management skill and experience – Ability to work on several projects at once.•	Based in China-Qingdao or the Philippines-Batangas mfg. sites and willingness to travel up to 25% average.

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Technical communication to customer, confirm customer application and technical requirement;</li><li>Translate customer’s requirement into engineering specification and provide new product design solution in time;</li><li>Responsible for part list/BOM building, 3D models and 2D drawings, GD&amp;T, product specifications, application specifications, DFMEA, DVPR, SC/CC list etc.</li><li>Lead the design review for compliance with engineering principles, high voltage standards, customer contract requirements, verification and related specifications;</li><li>Lead design review with cross functional teams to confirm the manufacturing and quality control feasibility;</li><li>Leads DV/PV test, responsible for resolving product design and test problems;</li><li>Responsible for FAI review, work with project team to release product in time.</li><li>Interacts with customers, vendors, marketing and sales personnel, and other engineering areas during the pre-production stages of new products.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor level degree majored in Engineering, or above;</li><li>More than 10 years mechanical design experience in Automotive industry. Independently new product development experience is plus.</li><li>Knowledge of connector fundamentals, capable of connector component and terminal design,&nbsp;</li><li>Familiar with GD&amp;T, mechanics of plastic/metal materials, and basic knowledge in injection molding, stamping.</li><li>Familiar with automotive product development, automotive products development process like APQP and PPAP.</li><li>Skilled in at least one 3D Software: Creo or Pro/E or Catia or UG. Mastery of office software such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc.</li><li>Proficient in writing and reading English. Good Oral English is plus.</li><li>Good communication skills, High team work spirit and team work experience, ability to work with multicultural engineering teams and cross functional environments.</li><li>Effective problem solving skills, to be innovative, willingness/ability to deal with multiple product and assigned tasks.</li></ul>
