Responsibilities: <ul><li>Direct responsibility for the Logistics Savings Pipeline of cost-saving projects, spanning 1-3 years</li><li>Active Projects: Tactical management of project timelines &amp; task completion</li><li>Medium-Term Projects: Prioritization and resource planning to move projects from Potential to Implemented, and to accelerate and expand existing initiatives</li><li>Long Term Projects: Identification of new potential projects to keep the pipeline growing</li><li>Partner with regional supply chain &amp; plant leaders to identify new cost savings projects and manage existing projects from conception to realization</li><li>Enable success of projects, while still driving accountability to project leads and the benefiting site,&nbsp;</li><li>creating a culture of continuous improvement.</li><li>Work closely with Finance to build business cases supporting each project, document project assumptions, and gain financial approval systematically</li><li>Integrate project pipeline in regular forecasting cadence, with a clear understanding of changes vs. prior cycle, roadblocks or gating items needing resolution, and opportunities to accelerate or pull-in other projects to close gaps</li><li>Track attainment to forecast on a monthly basis, including pareto analysis of any misses &amp; gap closure plan</li><li>Challenge existing targets &amp; identify opportunities for further improvements by partnering with the Global Logistics, Global Trade Services organizations, and other company Business Units</li><li>Document best practices / framework for continuously improving &amp; building pipeline into the future.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience 5+ years in freight management, logistics, or supply chain planning, preferably in a manufacturing or freight carrier environment.</li><li>Experience leading projects to completion with proven results.</li><li>Strong inter-personal skills and demonstrated ability to work across cultures to achieve results.</li><li>Organized &amp; methodical approach to project management, with the ability to keep various projects on track simultaneously</li><li>Knowledge of freight optimization methods, including packaging &amp; palletization improvement, consolidation, incoterm strategy, mode and route optimization, premium freight management, and carrier negotiation.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain planning, logistics, inventory management, and financial forecasting</li><li>Proficiency in utilizing master data management tools and systems (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, etc.).</li><li>Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data lifecycle management.</li></ul>
