Responsibilities: <ul><li>Assess operations of atmospheric crude distillation units (CDU) and vacuum distillation units (VDU) existing facilities to optimize operation by developing/set key performance indicators (KPIs) that will represent performances in different aspects such as profitability, operability, energy efficiency, reliability, process safety, etc.</li><li>Perform process parameters gap analysis and benchmarking among Global Manufacturing facilities (wholly-owned and affiliates) having CDU and VDU process technologies to capture and effectively share best practices, lesson learned, areas for improvements, and technical recommendations.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform benchmarking and best practices technical exchange workshops internally among Global Manufacturing facilities (wholly-owned and affiliates) having CDU and VDU process technologies.&nbsp;</li><li>Execution and deliverables of the workshops will be based on Benchmarking &amp; Best Practices Exchange Agreement among Global Manufacturing facilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Issue bi-monthly CDU and VDU technical best practices bulletin for sharing within Global Manufacturing facilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide on-demand remote and/or field technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on matters concerning the operation of CDU and VDU which may include but not limited to process troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown activities, capacity test runs, technology pilot testing, and process design.&nbsp;</li><li>Issue service report for every support activity provided highlighting the facilities need, actions taken, results, and lessons learned.</li><li>Enhance the competitiveness of CDU and VDU asset base by capturing integration opportunities between process units and facilities.</li><li>Conduct internal assessments on CDU and VDU process engineering standards using engineering standard references.&nbsp;</li><li>Highlight any deviations or better standards applied by affiliates for endorsement to facility management or central Engineering.&nbsp;</li><li>Support the implementation of relevant engineering standards to CDU and VDU across Global Manufacturing upon each facility management’s approval.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate on demand with Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for possible capital investments on assigned process units and support techno-economic evaluations required by Global manufacturing portfolio.</li><li>Recommend and coordinate proven technology deployments in atmospheric crude distillation units (CDU) and vacuum distillation units (VDU).&nbsp;</li><li>Liaise with Engineering Services Department or Contracting Unit for any technology assessment and piloting support.</li><li>Collaborate with Joint venture companies, subsidiaries, and third-party companies to consolidate best practices related to the operation of CDU and VDU.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate implementation of suitable best practices to facilities.</li><li>Participate as subject matter experts on external benchmarking with 3rd party entities, which include but not limited to, Japan Cooperation Council Petroleum (JCCP), Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) and Committees.</li><li>Act as the Admin Area overall coordinator for cascading and driving Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs to the operating facilities for execution and effective monitoring.&nbsp;</li><li>represent the Global Manufacturing Admin Area in corporate committees and initiatives concerning his field of expertise.</li><li>Ensure continuous learning on CDU and VDU process engineering and technology specialist to ensure expertise is preserved through internal and external trainings.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide in-house technical trainings to Global Manufacturing facilities when needed in specific process topics related to the CDU and VDU operations.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization.&nbsp;</li><li>An advanced degree is preferred.</li><li>A minimum of 15 years’ experience in refinery operations, engineering and process design but at the very least 10 years direct experience in handling CDU and VDU process units.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with more than one operating facility is strongly desirable.</li><li>You should be able to demonstrate a solid background developing and understanding the key performance indicators (KPI) involved in operating the process units concerned in terms of meeting the crude feed and product specifications, energy efficiency, asset management, economics, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of Solomon indices associated with operation of the process units concerned is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity and understanding of the best practices, design principles, international engineering standards and specifications relevant to operation of the concerned process units is required.</li><li>Experience in Turnaround, Start-up, Shutdowns, Management of change (MOC), HAZOP’s and performing technical assessments, investigations and case studies is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with basic computer software, and proficient user of HYSYS, PRO II simulation programs is essential.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Work with research organizations and manufacturers to identify technical gaps and challenges that hinder vast penetration of carbon fiber reinforced plastic in the Automotive sector.</li><li>Conduct technical feasibility studies, designing R&amp;D strategies targeting lowering the cost of carbon fiber and associated composites.</li><li>Launch research projects, lead lab technicians and junior scientists, and engage external partners to advance the technology readiness level of the targeted developments.</li><li>Project planning, execution, implementation and data analysis, as well as liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with ongoing efforts associated with non-metallic initiatives.</li><li>Train junior scientists and engineers while remaining current with engineering and scientific technological developments of carbon fiber manufacturing using a variety of precursors, conventional/advanced manufacturing processes of composites, design methodologies of composite parts for automotive applications and suitability aspects of composites.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science or Physics.</li><li>10 years of R&amp;D experience in materials synthesis and composite development, including at least 5 years of industrial experience in the area of carbon fiber manufacturing and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic development.</li><li>Ability to set corporate R&amp;D strategies, develop technology roadmaps, connecting innovation ecosystem players and establishing new business partnerships.</li><li>Ability to identify competencies gaps; and to build, manage, and lead R&amp;D teams.</li><li>Experience in complex project management, including milestone tracking; project finance and contracts development; as well as technology licensing and commercialization.</li><li>Demonstrated effective leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with customers.</li><li>Ability to identify technical challenges related to out-of-autoclave composites manufacturing towards speeding up the cycle of polymers and polymer composites processing for cost-effective high-volume manufacturing.</li><li>Skilled in identifying technical challenges related to low-cost carbon fiber manufacturing, and launching new research projects to tackle these challenges, such as developing new synthetic methods and fabrication procedures for carbon fiber technology with enhanced performance.</li><li>Ability to establish new research programs to overcome the existing challenges of composites processing, (e.g. scrap rate, time cycle, and repair of common and arising manufacturing processes, such as filament winding, automated tape placement, additive manufacturing, injection over molding and on-site manufacturing).</li><li>Ability to work closely with partners in order to integrate developed technologies in real-world applications in collaboration with automotive OEMs.</li><li>Able to publish papers in highly-recognized journals, present research outcomes in international events, and secure patents based on novel research results.</li></ul> Working environment <ul><li>Our high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities we offer, and are remunerated accordingly.</li><li>Our people work on truly world-scale projects, supported by investment in capital and technology that is second to none. Responsibilities <ul><li>Support the vision and guide a team of engineers to build and support digital products and services (DPS) across S&amp;T core priorities</li><li>Drive partnerships with User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data &amp; Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Process Engineering teams to deliver the Digital Products portfolio</li><li>Develop software development strategy utilizing industry standards. Create roadmap and timing of implementation of the roadmap based on business requirements and strategy.</li><li>Lead multi-discipline, high-performance work teams distributed across remote locations effectively. Build, manage, develop, and mentor a team of engineers.</li><li>Interact with executives across the company to lead the narrative around software engineering</li><li>Develop and expand DPS capabilities through a customer obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform that leverages data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences</li><li>Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the engineering initiatives to the stakeholders</li><li>Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet the strategic needs of the business</li></ul> Requirements <ul><li>A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field</li><li>Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering preferred</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of relevant software development and engineering management experience</li><li>3+ years of experience on architecting fault tolerant, high scale distributed systems</li><li>Commanding knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design</li><li>Expertise in Java and Spring / SpringBoot ecosystem, JUnit , BackEnd MicroServices, Serverless Computing, Creating REST API’S</li><li>Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React / ReactNative FrontEnd frameworks</li><li>Full stack engineering experience</li><li>Experience with Azure Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and cloud specific PaaS and SaaS solutions</li><li>Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems</li><li>Experience with high throughput cloud native distributed systems</li><li>Experience implementing and consuming large-scale web services</li><li>Deep knowledge of design patterns</li></ul>
