Responsibilities: <ul><li>QA Engineer supporting the continued design, development, and quality delivery of firmware &amp; software applications for Residential HVAC products.&nbsp;</li><li>Review and maintain all project documentation and document test results</li><li>Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies</li><li>Create, Document and Execute the test cases that conform to the technical, functional &amp; performance specifications for firmware and Software application</li><li>Adhere to the Automation Framework for HVAC domain products and enhancements</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Advanced Software Testing Skills with good domain knowledge in industrial products.</li><li>Test strategy, test estimation and planning</li><li>Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements</li><li>Experience of testing embedded systems firmware is a must</li><li>Experience in industrial protocols like modbus, BACnet, BLE, WiFi based product testing preferable.</li><li>Basic knowledge of C, Python or any programming language</li><li>Basic knowledge of IP networking concepts</li><li>Basic knowledge in developing automation scripts for embedded applications on Linux.</li><li>Create and maintain a reusable and configurable set of automated tests</li><li>Experience in using CLI interface, shell scripts</li><li>Have a working knowledge of hardware interface, debugging on hardware &amp; use of test equipment’s like multimeter, oscilloscope, function generators</li><li>Communicate effectively with constituents at all levels</li><li>Experience in Agile development methodologies preferable.</li><li>Experience with automation tools such Jenkins, Maven, any python based framework is desirable</li><li>Working knowledge of Git and TFS, Working knowledge of defect management tools</li><li>Need to demonstrate – Quality, Initiative, Quantity, Dependability and Teamwork</li><li>Experience in HVAC domain or Industrial automation domain is plus</li></ul>
