Responsibilities: <ul><li>Developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy for one or more integrated refinery and petrochemical complexes.</li><li>Daily Interaction with different Organizations to interpret, analyze, and act on their needs and requirements related to the supply chain management, supply chain logistics, pipelines systems and infrastructure.</li><li>Reviewing plans/deliverables for new integrated refinery and petrochemical projects to ensure that they comply with Company Standards and Regulations as well as industry codes related to supply chain management and logistics.</li><li>Developing Philosophies for OSBL/ISBL Interconnecting Pipelines for the products and feedstocks from marine to the refinery and petrochemical facilities and vice versa including feedstock cross-country pipelines (e.g. Ethane, Crude, etc.)</li><li>Participating in prefeasibility/feasibility studies as well as pre-FEED/FEED design phases for refinery and petrochemical projects. Participating in EPC studies for refinery and petrochemical projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Acts as technical consultant and subject matter expert in supply chain management and logistics.</li><li>Develop, review, and analyze engineering documents related to supply chain, logistics, utilities and infrastructure for refineries and petrochemical complexes such as, but not limited to, marine terminals, jetties, berths, logistics hubs, liquids and solids handling centers, in-bound and out-bound pipelines to and from the facilities, rail systems to transport products to the marine, trucking, products handling in terms of intermediate storage tanks, warehouses, packaging, extrusion, etc. and others.</li><li>Run end to end supply chain assessment to ensure smooth delivery of finished products from source to destination.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in market studies to understand market supply and demand for targeted projects produced from the facilities.</li><li>Collecting and interpreting analytical and performance data to determine supply chain KPIs.</li><li>Lead and implement Work Processes, Integrated Management Systems (ODMS), 3rd Party Logistics Contract Administration, and Operations improvement programs.</li><li>Identify, assess and optimize the material flow and risk trade-offs across the supply chain at a tactical or strategic level (inventory, purchasing costs, production costs, logistics costs, product quality, asset utilization, productivity and customer service).</li><li>Lead development of supply chain strategy, including customer/product mix analysis, customer/product segmentation, channels-to-market, capital investment, and sourcing decisions.</li><li>Test supply chain design scenarios, process variability and trade-offs through simulation modelling techniques.</li><li>Develop timelines, track, and drive 3rd party contractors towards successful completion of projects.</li><li>Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams. Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner</li><li>Work with projects team, finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors for sourcing raw materials to the facilities and supply chain elements such as logistics hub, packaging/warehousing management, etc.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Supply Chain or Engineering discipline (chemical engineering or mechanical engineering).</li><li>At 15 years, in the refining and petrochemical industry.</li><li>Possesses excellent communication skills (strong English language, preferably other languages too).</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial/business acumen.</li><li>Knowledge in refining and petrochemical processes and their associated supply chain systems, infrastructure, utilities and services.</li><li>Strong knowledge on supply chain operation and management in refineries and petrochemical complexes such as, but not limited to, marine terminals, jetties, berths, logistics hubs, liquids and solids handling centers, in-bound and out-bound pipelines to and from the facilities, rail systems to transport products to the marine, trucking, products handling in terms of intermediate storage tanks, warehouses, packaging, extrusion, etc. and others.</li><li>Knowledge in the various utility systems such as power steam generators, gas generators, power components (such as transformers, generators, transmission lines, substations, etc.), combined heat and power plant (cogeneration), air separation unit, instrument air system, waste water treatment and management, cooling towers operation, hydrogen manufacturing unit (SMRs and others), storage tanks operation, etc. Familiar with Utility Corridors (Power, Water, Sea Cooling, Pipelines, rail, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge on shared/common services supporting the refinery and petrochemical projects such as buildings, control rooms, laboratory, fire stations, fire water system, telecommunications, housing and community, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in participating in prefeasibility/feasibility studies as well as pre-FEED/FEED design phases for refinery and petrochemical projects.</li><li>Experience in participating in EPC studies for refinery and petrochemical projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Have knowledge on the market supply and demand of major refined products and petrochemical products and their target destination abroad and final uses and applications.</li></ul>
