Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Experience level: 7+ years of relevant Core expertise: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes Position Overview: Does development pipeline automation and a fast-paced environment excite you? Our Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer, DevOps to build out our Digital Assist and Learn cloud platform in a team whose efforts are part of the digital transformation of the company. You will be part of the team that builds, designs and deploys infrastructure services and tools needed to provide a secure, scalable, reliable and fast platform for both our infrastructure and application services. The successful candidate has a strong sense of ownership and is able to drive projects through completion. Responsibilities: &#183; Work with cross-functional teams in Agile development model across a large portfolio of applications &#183; Develop automation tooling for public cloud (AWS) infrastructure deployments &#183; Define infrastructure and application monitoring to detect or prevent incidents &#183; Propose cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability, performance and cost &#183; Manage, review and strengthen the physical and logical security of the platforms, systems, data and access points &#183; Create tools to automate repetitive tasks &#183; Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvements &#183; Share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents Minimum Qualifications: &#183; Configuration management experience: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform &#183; 7+ years experience in DevOps, Build release engineer roles &#183; 5+ years of experience in AWS, other large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure &#183; Working knowledge of build automation (Jenkins desired) and CI/CD pipelines, Pipeline-as-code, Declarative and Scripted Pipelines &#183; Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code &#8211; Cloud formation, AWS CDK or Serverless &#183; Cloud Computing: Good understanding on AWS DevOps toolset like EC2, IAM, S3, ELB, RDS, VPC, Code build, Code pipeline, etc. &#183; Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking and security &#183; Proficient in monitoring and logging tools - ELK, Splunk, Grafana &#183; Skilled in one or more scripting languages - Python, Bash, Groovy &#183; Hands-on experience with modern container orchestration systems like Docker, Kubernetes &#183; Clear communicator with a positive attitude &#183; Ability to manage long term, project/milestone-based work with multiple teams &#183; Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree, or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for developing and building IT Cloud solutions.</li><li>Develop and implement new processes for high efficiency and cost effectiveness.</li><li>Controls and documents new and existing build, deployment, disaster recovery and other IT processes</li><li>Develops the automation workflows for build/deploy, change and retirement</li><li>Responsible to integrate processes with 3rd party solutions to achieve true end-to-end automation</li><li>Defines RAMPS (Recoverability, Availability, Management, Performance and Security) criteria for all cloud-native components</li><li>Support strategic and operational management of the technology environment and acts as a</li><li>liaison between the Cloud Infrastructure Portfolio and the ITSM Team/Operation Team</li><li>Identifies functional/process gaps lead the resolution by working with internal teams to define and drive process enhancements and optimizations</li><li>Continuously reviews existing IT processes and suggests and implements improvements and optimization</li><li>Collaborates with key partners, including solution Service Portfolio Leads, Solution Architects, SOC (Security Operation Center), and Enterprise Architecture teams</li><li>Define and maintain the Cloud Security Strategy</li><li>Performs Security Management Reviews, improvement and remediation of Cloud</li><li>Services/Systems and Cloud Security Controls</li><li>Create and review security reports, verify and define action plans</li><li>Provide guidance to Wintel/Linux admins for optimizations and corrections</li><li>Define and manage Azure and AWS WAF products</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering or related degree preferred</li><li>Minimum of 3+ years of experience in designing, building and supporting multi-regional IaaS/PaaS solutions on AWS and/or Azure</li><li>Understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment on Amazon AWS and Azure</li><li>2+ years hands-on experience operating production environments using Infrastructure as code (IaC) with (e.g. Terraform, Consul and Ansible)</li><li>Experienced to document systems and processes in a sustainable and maintainable way</li><li>Experienced in translating technical and non-technical requirements to processes</li><li>Experienced in process &amp; workflow design (e.g. BPM 2.0)</li><li>Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Strong process management skills, including the ability to monitor/tracking work items within a process, supporting users, measurement/reporting, follow-up, and process documentation</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing across all</li><li>regions and management levels, adjusting communication style to ensure comprehension, and communicating complex ideas in easy-to-understand ways</li><li>Sound understanding of Cloud technologies, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, and hosting models, with</li><li>associated risks for such areas, e.g. Information Security, Continuity of Business, Architecture,etc.</li><li>Sound understanding of IT architecture and enterprise architecture principles (reference architecture, IT roadmap, architecture review)</li><li>Strong DevOps Mindset</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and collaborates with teammates in a fast-paced environment and continuously changing environment</li><li>Love for learning and sharing your knowledge with the team</li><li>A good understanding of what it takes to deliver successful projects</li><li>Able to work across multiple projects at the same time, involve subject matter experts when</li><li>needed and interact with technology vendors</li><li>Able to manage tasks and projects through to completion</li><li>Not hesitating to question the status quo and dare to propose the unexpected</li><li>Pay great attention to detail without losing the bigger picture</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communicator in English, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all seniority levels around the world</li><li>Strong cross-cultural and inter-personal communication skills Certifications</li><li>AWS/Azure Foundation Certification (Mandatory)</li></ul>
