Develop and/or support needed contractual agreements, as needed.</li><li>Represent the admin area in refining catalyst selection and evaluation by representing the needs of the business line according to established company procedures.</li><li>Support and coordinate with other internal stakeholders when necessary on the requirements to conduct the regular catalyst pilot testing activities.</li><li>Act with Global Manufacturing refineries in the negotiation and acceptance of catalysts and adsorbents vendor performance guarantees.</li><li>Assist with performance test runs to validate vendor’s Proforma Performance Guarantees.</li><li>Manage and facilitate the spent catalyst handling and precious metals reclamation (platinum and rhenium-based) activities in Global Manufacturing. Develop and maintain the procedures accordingly.</li><li>Act as the admin area focal point in providing coordination and process engineering support on corporate catalyst strategies and related transactions.</li><li>Provide field support to catalyst related activities such as loading &amp; unloading, regeneration &amp; rejuvenation, pre-sulfiding &amp; activation, process optimization, and troubleshooting, as needed, in collaboration with facility process engineers, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Support the pilot testing or field demonstration of commercial catalysts and in-house developed catalysts in our client facilities in collaboration with R&amp;D and other corporate technical entities.</li><li>Lead contract cost optimization initiatives surrounding fresh catalyst procurement, spent catalyst handling, re-use, and metal reclamation.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>You must hold a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related specialization.</li><li>An advanced degree with specialization in catalysis is preferred.</li><li>You should have a minimum of 10 years experience in refining and petrochemical catalyst and absorbents application and practical experience in supporting or operating catalytic processes (i.e. hydroprocessing, reforming, catalytic cracking, etc) with at least 5 years’ experience in oil refinery or petrochemicals plants.</li><li>Exposure to different technology licensors is a plus.</li><li>Experience using process engineering simulation programs is also required.</li></ul>
