Role Description: <ul><li>The Executive Director of Operations is responsible for the leadership, performance and operational excellence of Mount Kilimanjaro Safari Clubs portfolio of safari lodges, camps, safari businesses and future hospitality ventures.</li><li>Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer – Hospitality &amp; Conservation, the role has executive accountability for the day-to-day and long-term performance of the Companys operations, ensuring exceptional safari and hospitality experiences, consistently high accommodation and service standards, effective asset management, operational efficiency and sustainable profitability across the portfolio.</li><li>The Executive Director of Operations translates the Companys strategy and commercial commitments into operational execution. The role ensures that what the Company sells is consistently and successfully delivered across every stage of the guest journey, from reservation handover and pre-arrival preparation through accommodation, safari experiences, on-property services and departure.</li><li>The Executive Director of Operations is accountable for operational delivery, on-ground sales and trade relationships in market, guest conversion and on-property revenue and expense management.</li></ul> Responsibilities&nbsp; 1. Safari Business, Hospitality &amp; Guest Experience – 20% <ul><li>Provide executive leadership for Mount Kilimanjaro Safari Clubs safari business and hospitality operations across the portfolio.</li><li>Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional safari, accommodation and hospitality experiences across all lodges, camps and safari operations.</li><li>Take executive accountability for the operational delivery of the complete guest journey, from reservation handover and pre-arrival preparation through arrival, accommodation, safari activities and departure.</li><li>Provide executive oversight of accommodation, front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, guiding, game drives, guest activities, safari logistics, fleet operations, maintenance, engineering and operational support services.</li><li>Establish and maintain clear operating and service standards across the portfolio while allowing properties to retain appropriate authenticity and sense of place.</li></ul> 3. Commercial Delivery, On-Ground Sales &amp; Financial Stewardship – 15% <ul><li>Take accountability for the operational delivery of the Companys commercial strategy across safari operations, lodges and camps.</li><li>Build and maintain strong on-ground relationships with tour operators, travel agents, DMCs, trade partners, corporate clients and other relevant market stakeholders.</li><li>Drive upselling and on-property revenue opportunities across accommodation, food and beverage, safari activities, transfers, retail and ancillary services.</li><li>Ensure operational teams understand and effectively deliver commercial campaigns, packages, products and commitments developed by the Commercial function.</li></ul> 4. This role focuses on driving sustainable revenue growth, optimizing the retail footprint, and institutionalizing a premium customer experience.</li><li>The Manager leads the retail leadership team to achieve aggressive sales targets while ensuring brand consistency and operational compliance across all touchpoints.</li></ul>&nbsp;Responsibilities: <ul><li>Strategic Sales Leadership: Define and implement regional retail sales strategies and commercial plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and subscriber acquisition targets.</li><li>Retail Footprint Optimization: Analyze market trends and footfall data to identify opportunities for new store openings, kiosk relocations, or retail format optimizations.</li><li>P&amp;L &amp; Budget Management: Manage the retail department budget, monitor OpEx, and ensure a high return on investment (ROI) for all retail-led campaigns and store operations.</li><li>Customer Experience Excellence: Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for customer service; implement Voice of the Customer feedback loops to improve NPS (Net Promoter Score).</li><li>Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and enforce standardized internal procedures for inventory management, cash handling, KYC compliance, and platform usage (CRM/Afrivendas).</li><li>Cross -Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Marketing to ensure seamless deployment of trade marketing materials, campaigns, and product launches across the retail network.</li><li>Performance Coaching: Lead, mentor, and evaluate Retail Team Leaders and Supervisors; oversee the professional development and succession planning for the entire retail workforce.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Business Intelligence: Direct the production of high-level analytical reports regarding sales conversion, productivity per head, and competitor retail activity.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.</li><li>An MBA is highly preferred.</li><li>Minimum 7 years in Retail Sales, with at least 3-4 years in a senior management role, preferably within Telecoms, Banking, or high-volume FMCG.</li><li>Advanced understanding of retail economics, inventory management, and CRM systems.</li><li>Clear communication and strong writing.</li><li>Ability to translate complex market data into executable retail strategies and sales incentives.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Ability to manage large culturally diverse teams.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Support the regional APM team with the country and portfolio strategy, in particular through managing shipment, depletion, and inventory targets with a clear understanding of their impact on the P&amp;L.</li><li>Defines, aligns, and ensures flawless execution of the annual channel and customer marketing plan in collaboration with distributor teams, with the ultimate goal of enhancing visibility and deepening consumer, shopper, and bartender engagement at the point of sale;</li><li>Identifies and recommends opportunities for portfolio optimization and expansion, spearheading new launches in line with regional strategic priorities;</li><li>Builds and nurtures strong day-to-day relationships with distributors, mastering key market performance indicators.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyzes business evolution and competitive dynamics, leveraging insights and trends to identify growth levers and shape winning market strategies.</li><li>Oversees the monthly operating rhythm, business planning, and sales forecasting process to ensure timely shipments, accurate financial planning, and operational excellence.</li><li>Embeds the RTC model in full alignment with the regional team, ensuring consistency and strategic coherence.</li><li>Oversees the local budget, managing and tracking BTL activities, CCM investments, and ROI.&nbsp;</li><li>Translates consumer insights, competitor analysis, visibility initiatives, and sales performance into recommendations for actionable strategies, feeding into annual strategic and budget exercises.</li><li>Encourages strong distributor focus and commitment toward the our client portfolio, ensuring top-of-mind presence and advocacy.</li><li>Fosters a culture of accountability, passion, and brand ownership within partner organizations, inspiring teams to deliver excellence and sustainable growth.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Minimum 8-12 years of relevant sales, marketing and customer marketing experience, within a structured multinational company.</li><li>Relevant local experience in the Spirits, Wine and Beer industry</li><li>Knowledge and experience in the on-premise is a strong plus</li><li>Having managed third parties distributors is a plus</li><li>Experience in premium brands development in a structured multinational context (incl. being exposed to different marketing roles: global / regional / local / trade marketing etc…)</li><li>Economics / Marketing / Business Administration University Degree</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Plan , lead and handle overall execution of brand activation caledar in line with the MWB and support project planning.</li><li>Customize &amp; implement bespoke programs (as per brand guidelines)&nbsp;</li><li>Brand theme activities: Sundowners, Pool Parties, Cocktail Week, Negroni Week, Father’s Day, Valentines, Whisky Appreciations, etc&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Plan , lead , execute the bar staff training calendar for the portfolio&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring training and development of the execution force through on the job training and scheduling training calendar ( Distributor + Commercial Teams), deployment of tools i.e. CAO&nbsp;</li><li>Drive on-trade segmentation in line with global model yet relevant to India RTM</li><li>Ensure that merchandise standards “The Perfect Store” are adhered to for best in class execution of all BTL activations</li><li>Create a on trade scorecard for KPI definition for On-premise accounts / national chains&nbsp;</li><li>Work collaboratively with the brand marketing and commercial sales teams (company &amp; the distributor teams), leading the development and implementation of BTL Activity calendar in line with our Must Win Battle.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures POS is 100% compliant with the Brand Guideline &amp; 100% fit for purpose, in sufficient quantities to achieve visibility objectives in all relevant outlets,as per the annual aligned plan&nbsp;</li><li>Support in the development and execution of Consumer &amp; Shopper activations, including point of sale, gift packs ( packaging &amp; gifts ), in-store displays, sales toolkits and sampling activations, consistent with Perfect Store guidelines .</li><li>Customize visibility initiatives for outlets&nbsp;</li><li>Explore opportunities in image outlets in both on &amp; off trade</li><li>Brand walls, wall bays , shelf in shelf , festive gandolas etc&nbsp;</li><li>Incentive planning &amp; deployment to drive recommendation&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>End to end execution of the training modules supported by the local or national training agency &amp; commercial teams&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with the key local bartenders to nurture and execute dialogue content – menu creation , bespoke drinks , cocktail menu’s , pairings , leverage their digital reach by promoting our drinks etc&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Proven track record of working in On/Off Trade - Key Accounts Sales, Retail Sales , Brand Management or Trade Activation (2-6 yrs).</li><li>Demonstrated experience in managing expense budgets, procurement, and both Agency and Customer relationships&nbsp;</li><li>Post Graduation Degree with relevant subject focus preferred</li><li>Demostated ability to work within cross functional teams, and showcase influencing skills</li><li>Experience managing large cross functional commercial projects desirable</li><li>Strong relationships in On Premise and Bartender community</li><li>Knowledge of the Liquor industry and regulatory environment, and communication guidelines</li><li>Knowledge of the on-premise activaiton planning/ management/ operation&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to network and build strong relationships&nbsp;</li></ul>
