Job Description 
Technology Services (TS) is responsible for delivering all enterprise infrastructure, applications and related end user technology services across all Brookfield business groups, comprised of approximately 6,500 users. The Deskside Technician is the face of Technology Services, providing first-line support to end users. 
The Technical Support Specialist will report to the Team lead, Deskside.  In addition to incident logging, resolution, and ownership, the Deskside Technician will collaborate with team members and other Technology Services teams to maintain and improve the end user experience of all Brookfield users.

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Designs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots company Pricing applications (PriceFx), while adapting to changing priorities.</li><li>Leads complex projects including the design, specifications, and implementation of new capabilities.</li><li>Hands-on development and configuration of PriceFx to create critical solutions.</li><li>Provides day-to-day application support: Address broke/fix, provide consultation, investigate data issues.</li><li>Interact with other functional areas (i.e., Demand Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to understand upstream and downstream impacts.</li><li>Provides input into cloud-based solutions as required to meet changing business needs.</li><li>Interacts with vendors and service providers to understand the relationship, troubleshooting issues, ensures adequate support levels are in place, and evaluates new cloud services and frameworks.</li><li>Work closely with the Pricing Center of Excellence and Pricing Leaders (Directors and VPs) to understand needs and demands while creating designs and solutions resulting from their feedback.</li><li>Consistently evaluating Platform Releases to assess new functionality that can be leveraged to improve system usability and maturity.</li><li>Peer leadership by providing mentoring and training to other team members.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>BS in Computer Science or related field with over 10 years of overall work experience in a global environment</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience with these skills to be applied with this role:</li><li>Required: PriceFx</li><li>Modules: Price Analyzer, Price Builder, Quote Configurator</li><li>Technologies: Git, Groovy, Java (or object oriented programming principles), APIs, relational databases, web technologies</li><li>Preferred: SAP, Salesforce CPQ</li><li>Familiarity with System Integrations</li><li>Including: Dell Boomi, Enosix, Salesforce Platform Events, and FTP</li><li>Business process analysis and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>
